09847596 · 2017-12-19 · ·

A wire connection part of a terminal fitting includes: a barrel piece which is caulked while covering a tip end of a wire, thereby being crimped to the wire; a serration part formed on an inner surface of the barrel piece and connected to a core of the wire; and a water stop part mounted on the inner surface of the barrel piece to close a gap with the wire. A projecting piece mounted anterior to the serration part to position a tip end of the core is mounted to the barrel piece. The tip end of the core is positioned by the projecting piece, whereby the positional deviation of the wire can be prevented.

ELECTRICAL MALE TERMINAL

An electrical male terminal of this invention includes a clamp or crimp area, a main body, and a blade. Protruding members and support members of the main body act as overstress protection. A panel shield member protects a protruding guide member. In another embodiment of this invention, a protruding member extends from a first support member of the main body, and a cut-out portion at the lower portion of the main body accommodates therein the protruding member to prevent the tang member fr©m inadvertently or accidentally rotating relative to the lower portion of the main body. Furthermore, in this another embodiment of the electrical male terminal of this invention, a protrusion extends from the unattached end portion of the lever member for allowing the lever member to deflect upward when the protruding member of the unattached end portion interacts with an internal protrusion of a housing or connector assembly, thereby making it more difficult to remove the electrical male terminal from the housing or connector assembly, thereby protecting the electrical male terminal from inadvertently falling out during use.

Electrical contact element with a finely structured contact surface

An electrical contact element is disclosed. The electrical contact element includes a contact surface of an electrically conductive contact body having a plurality of coated regions with a first coating and a plurality of uncoated regions without the first coating, the coated regions and uncoated regions arranged in an alternating manner in a variation direction along the contact surface.

Electric wire with terminal and terminal crimping device

An electric wire with terminal includes an electric wire including a core wire and a cover covering the core wire, and a terminal to be attached to the electric wire. The terminal includes a placement portion onto which the electric wire is placed, a pair of core wire crimp pieces extending from the placement portion and configured to be crimped to the core wire, and a pair of cover crimp pieces extending from the placement portion and configured to be crimped to the cover. In a state where the pair of cover crimp pieces is crimped to the cover, the pair of cover crimp pieces includes a recessed portion positioned at an intermediate position in an electric wire extending direction in which the electric wire extends, and a pair of inclined portions continuous with both ends of the recessed portion and inclined radially outward.

Electrical terminal for terminating a wide size range of magnet wires

An electrical terminal for terminating magnet wire. The terminal includes a mating portion and a wire barrel positioned in line with the mating portion. The wire barrel has a first asymmetrical termination section and a second asymmetrical termination section, with the first termination section provided in line with the second termination section. The first termination section is positioned closer to the mating portion. The first and second termination sections have first side walls, second side walls and base walls. The first side walls, the second side wall and the base walls have a plurality of serrations.

Connecting structure for bus bar and electrical wire

A connecting structure uses a crimp terminal to connect a bus bar and an electrical wire together. The crimp terminal includes a bus bar-connecting section to be crimped to the bus bar, and an electrical wire-connecting section to be crimped to an end of the electrical wire. At least one of the bus bar-connecting section and the electrical wire-connecting section is provided with an oxide film breaking means for breaking an oxide film on the bus bar or a core wire on the end of the electrical wire.

ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE MATERIAL

An electrically conductive material with which excellent conduction reliability can be achieved for an oxide layer. The electrically conductive material contains electrically conductive particles including resin core particles, a plurality of electrically insulating particles being disposed on the surface of the resin core particles and forming protrusions, and an electrically conductive layer being disposed on the surface of the resin core particles and the electrically insulating particles, a Mohs' hardness of the electrically insulating particles being greater than 7. As a result, the electrically conductive particles pierce and sufficiently penetrate the oxide layer of the electrode surface so that excellent conduction reliability can be achieved.

Crimp terminal and electric wire with crimp terminal

A crimp terminal includes an F-type crimp portion and a C-type crimp portion. The F-type crimp portion has first and second barrel tabs, preferably with an identical length, for crimping a tip end of a complex stranded wire. The F-type crimp portion is adapted to have distal ends of the first and second barrel tabs put together and pushed into the tip end of the complex stranded wire to be crimped. The C-type crimp portion has a third barrel tab for crimping the complex stranded wire. The third barrel tab is wound in a C-form on an outer periphery of the complex stranded wire to be crimped. The arrangement provides a crimp terminal and an electric wire with crimp terminal, that prevents or reduces increases in retained resistance at a crimp portion, and can also prevent an electric wire from slipping out of a crimp terminal.

Connection assembly, valve with connection assembly and method of connecting a wire to a crimp connector

A connection arrangement has a crimp connector and a wire fixed in place in it, the crimp connector having a first and a second clamping plate, both single pieces, which in an assembled state clamp the wire between them and fix the wire in place with a tensile strength force acting in a longitudinally axial direction. Inner surfaces of the first and second clamping plate face one another at least in the assembled state are executed in a first form in the preassembled state. The first and second clamping plate fit tightly with one another and are deformed in the assembled state with a tool into a second form differing from the first that the wire, due to the deformation of the first and second clamping plates, forms at least one wave. A related valve and a related method are also disclosed.

Electrical female terminal comprising a spring member
11245212 · 2022-02-08 · ·

An electrical female terminal for mating with a connector assembly generally including a main body, a two-bodied spring, and a wire fastening portion. The two-bodied spring includes two members to provide spring force to impinge upon and mate the terminal with a male pin or male terminal, or further “blade-like” object. A guide member directs and “self-corrects” the insertion of a male pin or male terminal, or further “blade-like” object into the electrical female terminal. The main body further includes a tang member with overstress protection which fastens and locks the terminal within a connector housing. The main body has support members at either end thereof. The terminal has a polarity defined by the main body and for proper mating with a corresponding housing. The electrical female terminal also may accommodate a TPA device within a space above the wire fastening portion and located behind the main body.
