BATTERY TERMINAL
A battery terminal includes a terminal main body and a protector to be mounted to the terminal main body, wherein the terminal main body includes an operating section for clamping and tightening the battery post, and the protector includes a movable section provided with a contact section to be brought into contact with the upper surface of the battery main body, and a displacement section to be freely displaced between a covering position for covering the operating section and a retracted position with an external force applied on the contact section, wherein in the retracted position, the displacement section is retracted from the covering position, and wherein the displacement section is displaced to the retracted position by pressing the contact section against the upper surface of the battery main body so that the access to the operating section is allowed.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR TO CONNECT THE TERMINALS OF TWO ADJACENT BATTERY MODULES TO ONE ANOTHER IN A POWER STORAGE SYSTEM
An electrical connector to connect the terminals of two adjacent battery modules to one another in a power storage system. The electrical connector has: a conductor bar, which is provided with two first through holes and is configured to be laid on the two terminals of the two battery modules; two screws, each arranged through a first through hole of the conductor bar with a clearance and configured to be screwed into a threaded hole of a corresponding terminal; and a retaining sheet, which is laid on the conductor bar and has two second through holes, each aligned with a corresponding first through hole. Each screw is screwed into the corresponding second through hole.
Bushing adapter and bushing with superior mechanical characteristics
A bushing adapter comprises an insert having a bore extending through the insert along a length direction of the insert and a fastening member extending through the bore. The insert is configured to be attached to a bushing conductor of a bushing. The fastening member has an operating portion positioned outside of the bore at a bushing internal end of the fastening member and a fastening portion positioned outside of the bore at a bushing external end of the fastening member.
Installation switching device having a housing and having a screw connecting clamp
An installation switching device has a housing and screw connecting clamp with an essentially frame-shaped clamping part having longitudinal faces, narrow faces and broad faces, a head-clamp screw received in a clamping part threaded aperture, and a current rail arranged fixed in the device extending through the frame-shaped clamping part interior, wherein a current rail broad face is oriented, as assembled, parallel to a clamping part broad face facing the head clamping screw, the screw supporting itself, screwed in, on the current rail, wherein consequently, the clamping part is displaceable in its longitudinal direction, parallel to the narrow face, relative to the current rail by further screwing in the head clamping screw so a connecting conductor can be fixedly clamped between the current rail face remote from the screw and the clamping part broad face remote from the screw, the housing having a screw receiving region guiding the screw head.
Connector with retention feature
A cable assembly and associated connector are provided. The cable assembly includes a connector and a length of cable for conducting an electrical current. The connector includes a connector body and a cap threadably engaging the connector body. The cap and connector body each include abutment surfaces arranged to interact with one another to provide a retention feature such that the cap is not inadvertently removed from the connector body.
Combination terminal
A combination terminal (1) has a first terminal (10) overlapping a second terminal (110) in a plate thickness direction. The first terminal (10) includes a base (41) and two inclined walls (20) intersecting surfaces of the base (41) from both lateral ends of the base (41) and forming an insertion/accommodation space (C) having a trapezoidal shape. The second terminal (110) includes an inserting piece (132) that overlaps the base (41) when inserted into the insertion/accommodation space (C). A locking claw (132A) on the inserting piece (132) locks the base (41) by overlapping the inserting piece (132) on the base plate (41). An external force absorbing tapered portion (133) projects laterally from the inserting piece (132) and comes into surface contact with one of the inclined walls (42) with the locking portion (132A) locked to the base (41).
Electrical Connection for Motor Vehicle Cable
A connection comprising, a connecting part, a sleeve materially bonded to the connecting part and having a through-opening extending in a longitudinal direction, and a bolt connected to the sleeve and having a bolt shank and a bolt flange, the bolt being crimped with its bolt shank in the longitudinal direction in the through-opening of the sleeve, the bolt is arranged with its bolt flange in a recess arranged at a front face of the sleeve, characterized in that the sleeve is connected to the connecting part by its front face located at the front face end.
