Busbar connector assembly
09800004 · 2017-10-24 · ·

A busbar connector assembly that includes a housing having two portions facing one another that each have an attachment section and a guide section. A first receiving area of the housing receives a first busbar. A second receiving area of the housing receives a second busbar. First and second contact members are coupled to the housing portions. The first and second contact members each have a fixed end and a flexible end having a busbar contact surface. The housing has first and second open ends leading into the receiving areas. The first open end has a continuous width. The second open end includes lead-in surfaces formed in the housing guide sections. The lead-in surfaces define a largest width of the second open end converging to a smallest width thereof. The smallest width of the second open end is substantially the same as the width of the first open end.

A grounding pipe clamp secures a pipe and accommodates various attachment configurations to secure a range of conductor sizes. The grounding pipe clamp includes a bolt, a main body, and clamping pads. The bolt has a first leg and a second leg. The main body has a first end portion, a middle portion, and a second end portion. The first end portion has a slot that receives the first leg of the bolt. The second end portion has a L-shaped cutout that receives the second leg of the bolt to secure a pipe between the main body and the bolt. The clamping pads are secured to the first leg of the bolt and the second leg of the bolt. The clamping pads secure the conductors positioned on the main body.

ELECTRICAL ASSEMBLY

An electrical assembly having a housing with a housing pot and a housing cover closing the housing pot and at least two connection terminals provided for the electrical connection of the assembly. The connection terminals each comprise a base plate, a clamping plate, which can be arranged on the base plate, for clamping at least one electrical conductor between the base plate and the clamping plate, a contact pin protruding into the housing pot, and a screw for fastening the clamping plate to the base plate. The housing pot is a hollow cylinder with a closed bottom and the electrical connection terminals are arranged along an imaginary circular line on the housing. The base plates and/or the clamping plates each have a trapezoidal base area.

Terminal wire clamp

A terminal wire clamp including a body, an aperture defined by the body, and a first tab. The body has a front face, a back face opposite to the front face, and a side edge. The first tab extends from the side edge in a first direction outside of a plane defined by the body.

A captive shear bolt assembly includes a bolt and a shear coupling. The bolt may have a head, an extension, and a shank. The shear coupling may be configured to be received by the extension. The shear coupling may be configured to receive the extension via an orifice in the shear coupling. The shear coupling may be configured to shear when an upper head of the shear coupling is driven at a threshold torque. When the shear coupling has sheared, the extension may be configured to captively secure the upper head to the bolt. The captive shear bolt assembly may be used in a tap connector for electrically connecting a main conductor to a tap conductor.
