The present disclosure provides embodiments of a tool adapted to electrically and mechanically connect an electrical connector to electrical conductors using an extendable reach tool. The tool permits one or more lineman to remotely connect an electrical connector to electrical conductors. The tool includes a glide track assembly, a connector holding member, a gear assembly and a fastener head driver.

A bus bar assembly for electrically connecting a plurality of battery cells having electrode leads is provided. The bus bar assembly includes a bus bar support frame having an opening; an insertion bus bar, the insertion bus bar being displaceable relative to the bus bar support frame in the opening; side-adhering bus bars positioned with the insertion bus bar being interposed therebetween to form fitting spaces respectively besides opposite sides of the insertion bus bar so that at least one electrode lead is insertable into each of the fitting spaces; and a support member configured to support the insertion bus bar at a location protruding further from the bus bar support frame than the side-adhering bus bars protrude from the bus bar support frame, the support member being elastically deformable by the insertion bus bar when the insertion bus bar is pressed.

This disclosure provides electrostatic discharge mitigation devices. In one or more embodiments, the electrostatic discharge mitigation device is an electrically conductive insert to transfer static charge from electrically conductive polymer tubing to an electrically conductive polymer operative component.

An electric cable including a terminal includes an electric wire and a female terminal. The female terminal includes a first holding portion and a second holding portion that hold the electric wire. The female terminal includes a first pressing portion and the second pressing portion pressing the first holding portion and the second holding portion toward the electric wire. The first holding portion and the second holding portion include a first protrusion and a second protrusion, respectively. The first protrusion and the second protrusion protrude toward the electric wire. A core wire of the electric wire includes a recess in which the first protrusion and the second protrusion are fitted.

Embodiments provide for a method for pluggable Land Grid Array (LGA) socket for high density interconnects. A method includes inserting an electrical-to-optical transceiver into an opening of a channel housing that is positioned above a land grid array connector located on an electrical package. After the electrical-to-optical transceiver is inserted into the channel housing, a tapered opening remains between an upper portion of the channel housing above the electrical-to-optical transceiver, wherein a gap of the tapered opening decreases progressively starting from the opening. The method includes inserting a conductive wedge into the gap of the tapered opening prior to communications through the electrical-to-optical transceiver between a component on the electrical package and a component external to the electrical package.

A platform for connecting busbars has a loading unit having a blind hole on a docking surface for receiving a connecting rod, an action unit used for impacting the loading unit or a busbar to push the connecting rod into a pre-hole on the busbar, a limit unit used for stopping the busbar from moving along its length direction, and a support unit used for supporting the action unit and the limit unit. The connecting rod is assembled to the first busbar by the action unit combined the loading unit and then the connecting rod already assembled to the first busbar is assembled to the second busbar by the action unit.

An electric cable including a terminal includes an electric wire and a female terminal. The female terminal includes a first holding portion and a second holding portion that hold the electric wire. A female terminal 12 is connected to an electrical wire 11, and provided with: an electrical wire connection 19 having a base 22, and first and second pinching parts 14, 15 that pinch the electrical wire 11 and that extend from the base 22 in the extending direction; and a slide part 18 that is slidable with respect to the electric wire connection 19 along the extending direction (back-and-forth direction). Wedge type electrical connector assemblies adapted to electrically and mechanically connect conductors within transmission and/or distribution circuits is provided. The wedge type electrical connector assembly includes a frame, an interface and a wedge assembly. The interface is coupled to the frame so that it is movable relative to the frame. The interface can move and flex when installing conductors into the wedge type electrical connector assemblies.
