Wire harness with shield
A wire harness having a shield structure that can exhibit a required shield effect and sufficiently meet demands for cost mitigation and weight reduction is provided. The wire harness is provided with an electrical line group that is held in a bundled manner, in which at least a portion of electrical lines that are positioned on the outer circumferential side of the electrical line group each have a metal thin-film for shielding as the outermost layer, the metal thin-film being formed so as to attach to an outer circumferential surface portion of a sheathing that surrounds a conductor of the electrical line, and a drain wire or another ground connection member that is grounded and comes into contact with the metal thin-films of the electrical lines.
Ground connection structure for shield wire
There are provided: a shield projecting portion (4A) being a part of a shield layer (4) of a shield wire (1) projected outside of an exterior covering (5) to be exposed; an annular member for grounding (10, 10A, 10B) disposed in a position surrounding an outer circumference of the shield wire (1) and including a housing chamber (12, 22) having an opening (13) along an annular shape of the annular member for grounding and being configured to house the shield projecting portion (4A) and a ground wire (7) inserted from the opening (13); and a push-in member (20, 20B) inserted from the opening (13) and housed in the housing chamber (12, 22) after insertion of the ground wire (7) and the shield projecting portion (4A) to bring the shield projecting portion (4A) and the ground wire (7) into close contact with each other.
COAXIAL CONNECTOR GROUNDING INSERTS
A coaxial cable connector and a grounding insert extending between an elongated hollow post and a nut interior and providing an electrically conductive path therebetween.
COUPLING FOR CONNECTING PIPE ENDS AND BRIDGING FOR USE IN A COUPLING
A coupling for connecting pipe ends, comprising a hollow body with an entrance for each pipe end provided with a radial seat for a pipe end and a coupling nut for clamping the pipe end, whereby an electrically conductive bridge is provided, which at the location of the seats is provided with a clamping element that is elastically deformable in the radial direction with respect to the respective seat, and is provided with a contact section, which in a rest situation is at a distance from the axis of the seat that is smaller than an outside radius of the pipe end for which the seat concerned is intended.
Detachable cable joint with three sockets
A detachable cable joint is provided and includes a housing having a first socket, a second socket, a third socket, a first contact member, and a second contact member. The second socket is positioned adjacent to the first socket, while the third socket is positioned adjacent to the first socket and separate from the second socket. The first contact member connects the first socket and the second socket, while the second contact member connects the first socket and the third socket.
Spring loaded ground clamp
A grounding clamp uses a spring driving a piston mounted movable jaw as a safety lockout. The movable jaw and a fixed jaw, which may include teeth, form a conductor clamp. The ground clamp mounts on the end of a hot stick to provide for electrically insulated remote operation of the ground clamp by a lineman holding the hot stick and pulling on, or releasing, a lever arm on the hot stick. The system provides increased safety for the lineman as the spring providing the spring loading of the clamp has a high spring force to overcome, thus providing the lockout. The lever arm on the hot stick tool provides mechanical advantage to overcome the spring force and thus release the lockout. The lineman cannot usefully operate the ground clamp manually without the hot stick due to spring force lockout.
Heat retarding arrangement with a phase change material for an electric vehicle
A heat retarding arrangement includes a phase change material. The heat retarding arrangement is attachable at or in an electric conductor and passively cools the electric conductor.
Cable grounding assemblies for telecommunications enclosures
Devices, assemblies and methods for fixing and grounding telecommunications cables entering telecommunications closures. A plurality of cable fixation units are independently conductively coupled to components of a grounding assembly with conductive couplers. The conductive couplers are attached to a grounding bar that is fixed relative to the cable fixation units.
WIRE HARNESS
A wire harness includes a shield electric wire that has a braided member; a shield terminal that covers an outer peripheral surface of the shield electric wire and is grounded to a shield shell; a shield ring that is crimped and fixed to sandwich a folded portion of the braided member between the shield ring and the shield terminal; a packing performing sealing with respect to an outer peripheral surface of the first portion of the shield electric wire; and a shrink tube. The shrink tube integrally covers an outer peripheral surface of a second portion of the shield electric wire, an outer peripheral surface of the shield ring, and the outer peripheral surface of the shield terminal, and that performs sealing with respect to the outer peripheral surface of the second portion.
