Built-In Connector for Board-to-Board and Flex-to-Rigid Board Connection

Stacked circuit board structures and methods of assembly are described. In an embodiment, a stacked circuit board structure includes first circuit board and a second circuit board including a plurality of pins mounted thereon, and the plurality of pins are secured in a plurality of receptacles that are coupled with the first circuit board to provide electrical connection between the first circuit board and the second circuit board.

A flexible printed circuit board includes a base film having an insulating property and a conductive pattern laminated on one surface of the base film, and has a terminal connecting area toward one end edge of the conductive pattern, the flexible printed circuit board including a reinforcement member laminated on an opposite surface of the base film and situated at least at a position opposite the terminal connecting area, wherein the reinforcement member has one or more lines of hollow holes aligning with a width direction thereof.

At least a portion of the first protruding portion is disposed on the second input portion.

SENSOR MODULE

A sensor module according to an embodiment of the present technology includes a housing, a sensor board, an external connector, a flexible printed circuit, and a metallic shield case. The flexible printed circuit electrically connects the sensor board and the external connector, the flexible printed circuit including a signal line and a ground line. The shield case includes a bottom portion that is arranged between the flexible printed circuit and the external connector. The external connector includes a first connection pin that is connected to the signal line, a second connection pin that is connected to the ground line, and a third connection pin that is connected to the bottom portion of the shield case. The bottom portion includes a first hole, a second hole, a third hole, and a thermal storage, the first hole being a hole through which the first connection pin passes, the second hole being a hole through which the second connection pin passes, the third hole being a hole through which the third connection pin passes, the thermal storage being provided around the third hole and covered with a solder material used to join the third connection pin to the bottom portion.

Welding structure, wiring board with metal piece, and welding method

A welding structure includes: a first metal member and a second metal member that are superimposed and welded together. The first metal member has a hole. The second metal member includes a nugget portion where a part of the second metal member has been melted by heat of laser light and has re-solidified.
