Ribbon Cable with Polarization
The disclosed embodiments relate generally to a multi-conductor ribbon cable provided for power and data transmission to a network of devices. The multi-conductor ribbon cable is keyed for mating with a modular connector. The conductors of the multi-conductor ribbon cable are connected to the network of devices via insulation displacement members and spring connectors contained within a modular connector.
PLUG CONNECTOR FOR FLEXIBLE CONDUCTOR FILMS
A plug connector for flexible conductor films having film-insulated conductors, includes a plug connector housing in which at least one plug contact element is arranged, and a connection region in which blades electrically conductively connected to the at least one plug contact element penetrate and fix at least one film-insulated conductor and produce an electrical contact. The plug connector housing includes two housing parts which can be pushed into one another, of which the first housing part supports the blades and the at least one plug contact element electrically conductively connected thereto, and the second housing part receives and supports the flexible conductor film and has the at least one blade receptacle which is adapted to the blades and whose boundary surfaces are designed such that the at least a part of the blades is bent towards the film-insulated conductor when the two housing parts are pushed into one another.
PLUG CONNECTOR AND CONNECTOR SET
A plug connector of the present disclosure includes a plug housing and a plurality of plug terminals stored in the plug housing. This plug connector is fitted in a receptacle connector having a receptacle terminal, and is connected to a cable having a sheet shape and including a cable terminal, thereby establishing electrical connection between the receptacle terminal and the cable terminal. Each of the plug terminals has a contact section and a connection section. The contact section is contactable with the receptacle terminal, and the connection section is connectable to the cable terminal. In a state in which the plug connector is fitted in the receptacle connector, the connection section is disposed such that the connection section is exposed from the plug housing.
CONNECTOR FOR FLEXIBLE PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD
An electrical connector includes an insulative housing, a plurality of contacts retained in the insulative housing, a fastener and a first sealing ring. The insulative housing has a rear section extending backwardly. The rear section has a rear space and a first peripheral wall around the rear space. Each contact has a connecting leg extending into the rear space. The fastener has a mating section to engage with the rear section and a board receiving chamber extending therethrough along a front to back direction. The fastener has a fixed position on the insulative housing, and as moving the fastener to the fixed position, the connecting legs are pressed into the board receiving chamber for electrically connecting with the flexible printed circuit board, and the first sealing ring is sealed around the junction of the contacts and the flexible printed circuit board.
SKIN BUTTON WITH FLAT CABLE
A percutaneous connector assembly including a feedthrough assembly having a body and a plurality of electrically conductive feedthroughs extending through the body from a first end toward a second end thereof. A cable assembly having a plurality of conductors arranged side-by-side within a first plane to form a substantially flat portion thereof is included, each conductor being connected to a corresponding feedthrough of the feedthrough assembly and the flat portion extending from the body.
Circuit board assembly
There is provided a circuit board assembly constructed by stacking a first circuit board having a first contact portion and a second circuit board having a second contact portion to allow the first and second contact portions to contact each other, which is bendable along a first direction. The first circuit board has a first hole that is formed within a range in which a pair of first projection pieces are present in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, at least part of the first hole being situated between the pair of first projection pieces in the first direction, and the second circuit board has a second hole that is formed within a range in which the pair of second projection pieces are present in the second direction, at least part of the second hole being situated between the pair of second projection pieces in the first direction.
CONNECTOR FOR A FLAT FLEXIBLE CABLE
A connector for a flat flexible cable includes a housing and a spring clip disposed in the housing. The housing has a main body and a cover. The cover is movable with respect to the main body between an open position and a closed position. The spring clip is resiliently deflectable by the cover. The spring clip is in a first state with the cover in the open position in which the spring clip abuts a conductor exposed through an insulation material of the flat flexible cable with a first contact force. The spring clip is in a second state with the cover in the closed position in which the spring clip abuts the conductor with a second contact force greater than the first contact force.
Connector For A Flat Flexible Cable
A connector for a flat flexible cable or flat printed cable includes a housing portion and a plurality of terminals. The housing portion includes a plurality of terminal receiving passageways each receiving a contact portion of one of the plurality of terminals. A plurality of conductors exposed in a window extending through an insulation material of the flat flexible cable are each clamped in a terminating portion of one of the plurality of terminals by a clamping force applied thereon by a cover selectively fixable with respect to the housing portion.
Connector-attached circuit body and bus bar module
A connector-attached circuit body include a circuit body including a flexible substrate having a wiring pattern, and a connector attached to the circuit body and including a terminal and a housing that accommodates the terminal. The terminal is electrically connected to the wiring pattern and extends in a thickness direction of the circuit body.
Connector and connecting method
A connector includes a pushing member having a projection, and a contact having a projection accommodating portion of a recess shape, the projection includes a holding portion extending across the projection in a direction orthogonal to a projecting direction of the projection and holding a flexible conductor, when the projection is inserted into the projection accommodating portion of the contact together with the flexible conductor with a middle part of the flexible conductor being held by the holding portion of the projection, parts of the flexible conductor that are situated on opposite sides of and are adjoining the middle part of the flexible conductor are sandwiched between a lateral surface of the projection and an inner surface of the projection accommodating portion to contact the inner surface of the projection accommodating portion, whereby the contact is electrically connected to the flexible conductor.
