Connection assisting member and circuit board assembly
A connection assisting member, for connecting a first circuit board having one or more through-holes each of which has a first contact portion formed on an inner surface thereof and a second circuit board having one or more bendable second contact portions, includes a base plate, and one or more projections projecting on a surface of the base plate and having elasticity, when fitted in a corresponding through-hole of the first circuit board as catching a corresponding second contact portion of the second circuit board, each of the one or more projections elastically presses the corresponding second contact portion of the second circuit board against the inner surface of the corresponding through-hole to electrically connect the first contact portion and the corresponding second contact portion to each other.
BOARD-TO-BOARD CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY FOR ADD-IN CARDS
A board-to-board connector assembly includes a connector interposer between first and second connectors each having a connector housing holding contacts and having a card slot for interfacing with a circuit card edge of a corresponding add-in card. The connector housings have board guides configured to engage the add-in cards and guide mating therewith. The connectors have latches configured to latchably engage the add-in cards to secure the connector to the add-in cards. The connector interposer electrically interconnects the first contacts and the second contacts.

Flexible type electrical feed-through connector assembly
A flexible type electrical feed-through involves a flexible printed circuit (FPC) part constructed as a laminate structure of a base insulating layer, a conductor layer, and a cover insulating layer, where the FPC part is wrapped around a metal part, forming a connector assembly. Such a feed-through may be used at an interface between a hermetically-sealed internal environment, such as in a lighter-than-air gas filled data storage device, and the external environment. Multiple connector parts may be coupled to an inner side of the feed-through, to each mate with a respective flexible cable assembly electrically connected to a respective actuator of a multi-actuator hard disk drive. A floating board-to-board connector part may be coupled to the outer side of the feed-through, which in turn is electrically connected to a printed circuit board assembly of a hard disk drive, and which is able to tolerate connector mating misalignment.
