Communication patch panel and communication rack system
The present invention relates to a communication patch panel and a communication rack system having the communication patch panel. The communication patch panel includes a panel body (2) having two ends as well as a front side (21) and a rear side. The communication patch panel includes two fittings (3), each of which is configured to be mounted on a communication rack (20) and to be detachably connected to one of the ends of the panel body, wherein each of the fittings provides a plurality of transverse positions for the detachable connection. A plurality of different positionings of the panel body may be flexibly realized in the communication patch panel.
Quick release plug pack assembly
A cassette assembly includes a housing for plugs having release latches, the housing including a support surface and first hinge feature. The assembly also includes a compression lever including a post and a second hinge feature configured to cooperate with the first hinge feature to form a hinge. The assembly also includes a latch depressor including first and second ends, the latch depressor having a channel configured to receive the post. In response to a force applied to the compression lever with the first and second hinge features in cooperation, the channel in receipt of the post, and a plug in the housing, the compression lever rotates about the hinge, the post translates the force to the channel, the first end of the latch depressor abuts and pivots at the support surface, and the second end of the latch depressor contacts the release latch of the plug in the housing.
Quick release plug pack assembly
A cassette assembly includes a housing for plugs having release latches, the housing including a support surface and first hinge feature. The assembly also includes a compression lever including a post and a second hinge feature configured to cooperate with the first hinge feature to form a hinge. The assembly also includes a latch depressor including first and second ends, the latch depressor having a channel configured to receive the post. In response to a force applied to the compression lever with the first and second hinge features in cooperation, the channel in receipt of the post, and a plug in the housing, the compression lever rotates about the hinge, the post translates the force to the channel, the first end of the latch depressor abuts and pivots at the support surface, and the second end of the latch depressor contacts the release latch of the plug in the housing.
CONNECTOR MODULE, COMMUNICATION CABLE WITH CONNECTOR, AND CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
A connector module provided on an end part of a communication cable used in communication of 100 Mbps or faster includes a first terminal, a connector member for accommodating the first terminal, a tubular shield member for covering an outer periphery of the connector member, and a tubular conductive rubber member to be electrically connected to the shield member. The shield member includes an accommodating portion for accommodating a part of the conductive rubber member on a side where an end part of the communication cable is inserted. The conductive rubber member includes a first region to be accommodated into the accommodating portion and a second region not to be accommodated into the accommodating portion. The first and second regions constitute an integrally molded body. The second region has a larger outer diameter than the first region.
CONNECTOR AND CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
Provided is a connector and a connector assembly with improved properties of a frame while the number of components is further reduced. The connector can be fitted with a counter connector and includes: a frame including a side wall which surrounds the counter connector; a first terminal and a second terminal which are situated inside the frame; and a blocking portion disposed between the first terminal and the second terminal. The side wall seamlessly continues over an entire periphery of the frame, the frame and the blocking portion are constituted of a same member to be integrated with each other, the blocking portion has a joint portion which joins one end portion to another end portion of the frame, and the joint portion is fixed to the board while being in contact with the board continuously from the one end portion to the other end portion of the frame.
CONNECTOR AND CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
Provided is a connector and a connector assembly with improved properties of a frame while the number of components is further reduced. The connector can be fitted with a counter connector and includes: a frame including a side wall which surrounds the counter connector; a first terminal and a second terminal which are situated inside the frame; and a blocking portion disposed between the first terminal and the second terminal. The side wall seamlessly continues over an entire periphery of the frame, the frame and the blocking portion are constituted of a same member to be integrated with each other, the blocking portion has a joint portion which joins one end portion to another end portion of the frame, and the joint portion is fixed to the board while being in contact with the board continuously from the one end portion to the other end portion of the frame.
CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
Provided is a connector assembly capable of suppressing deformation and breakage of a connector that may occur when one of connectors displaces in a connector fitting state. The connector assembly is configured such that a first connector is fitted with a second connector, with one of the first connector and the second connector entering an inside of another, the first connector includes a projection portion that projects to a side on which the second connector is disposed in a fitting direction of the first connector and the second connector, the second connector includes a restriction portion that restricts displacement of the second connector in an intersecting direction intersecting the fitting direction, and, in a state where the first connector is fitted with the second connector, the restriction portion contacts the projection portion in the intersecting direction to restrict displacement of the second connector.
COMMUNICATION SYSTEM HAVING A RECEPTACLE CAGE WITH AN ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
A communication system having a circuit board with an airflow opening includes a receptacle cage configured to be mounted to the circuit board adjacent a communication connector. The receptacle cage has walls including a front wall, a rear wall and side walls defining a cavity. A module channel is defined in the cavity configured to receive a pluggable module. The module channel has a module port at the front wall that receives the pluggable module. An airflow channel is defined by at least one of the walls of the receptacle cage located between the module channel and the circuit board. The airflow channel is configured to be in flow communication with the airflow opening in the circuit board for cooling the pluggable module in the module channel. The airflow channel has an airflow port at the front wall.
COMMUNICATION SYSTEM HAVING A RECEPTACLE CAGE WITH AN ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
A communication system having a circuit board with an airflow opening includes a receptacle cage configured to be mounted to the circuit board adjacent a communication connector. The receptacle cage has walls including a front wall, a rear wall and side walls defining a cavity. A module channel is defined in the cavity configured to receive a pluggable module. The module channel has a module port at the front wall that receives the pluggable module. An airflow channel is defined by at least one of the walls of the receptacle cage located between the module channel and the circuit board. The airflow channel is configured to be in flow communication with the airflow opening in the circuit board for cooling the pluggable module in the module channel. The airflow channel has an airflow port at the front wall.

A cable connector system can include a board connector that attaches to a die package, a cable connector that attaches to the board connector, and a 1 RU panel I/O connector attached to the cable connector.
