QUICK CONNECT DEVICE WITH TRANSVERSE RELEASE
A known quick connect electrical connector has plug which has a spindle through which a rod is passed. Metal balls are contained within the spindle and can be pushed radially outwardly by a widened portion of the rod to lock the spindle to a passage in a corresponding socket. To separate the plug and socket, the rod must be pushed to move the widened portion away from the balls. To accomplish this, a cam follower is attached to the rod. Slide supports are attached to the plug. A lever slides within the slide supports and has a cam surface which pushes the cam follower when the lever is slid within the slide supports. When the cam follower is pushed, it moves the rod to enable the metal balls to move radially inwards to release the plug from the socket.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ANDROGYNOUS COUPLING AS WELL AS USE
A coupling system comprising a first androgynous coupler and a second androgynous coupler. The first androgynous coupler comprises a first male coupling section having a first recess extending radially and a first female coupling section comprising a first blocking element and a first positioning element. The second androgynous coupler comprises a second male coupling section having a second recess extending radially, where the second male coupling section is configured to form-fit with the first female coupling section. When the second male coupling section is form-fit with the first female coupling section, axial movement of the first positioning element causes the first blocking element to move radially into the second recess to couple the first androgynous coupler to the second androgynous coupler.
Connector
A connector matable along a mating axis with a mating connector includes an inner housing element having a receptacle, an outer housing element movable along the mating axis to the inner housing element from an unmated position of the outer housing element to a mated position of the outer housing element, and a coupling element with a hollow receiving and coupling with a plug of the mating connector. The coupling element is arranged inside the receptacle of the inner housing element and is movable along the mating axis from an unmated position of the coupling element to a mated position of the coupling element. The coupling element is connected to the outer housing element by a motion-reversing mechanical system and movement of the outer housing element in one direction along the mating axis moves the coupling element in an opposite direction relative to the inner housing element.
Coding Clip, Plug Assembly and Connector Assembly
A coding clip includes a first portion that locks a plug with a first connector and a second portion having a coding shape matching a matching coding shape of a second connector matable with the first connector along a mating direction. The coding clip is form-fitted on the plug that extends in the mating direction.
Push-pull coaxial connector
A push-pull coaxial connector includes: an external conductor configured to internally receive the matching external conductor of a mating connector, with concave parts or through holes on the inner surface of the side wall of the external conductor; a sleeve surrounding the external conductor, where the sleeve is able to slide between the front position and rear position along the external conductor and is able to rotate around the circumference of the external conductor. When the sleeve is at the front position, one or more protrusions are staggered away from one or more notches and abutted on the rear surface of the sleeve to prevent the sleeve from moving backward. When the sleeve is at the rear position, one or more protrusions are received in one or more corresponding notches.
Plug-in Assembly Structure and an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle with Composite Wing
A plug-in assembly structure for a UAV includes a first component (1), a second component (2) and a limit assembly (3). The first component (1) includes a first plug (11) and a positioning sleeve (12), and the positioning sleeve (12) is provided with a first through hole (121). The second component (2) includes a second plug (21), the radial direction of the second plug (21) is provided with a limit hole (2111), the second plug (21) can be electrically connected to the first plug (11), and the limit hole (2111) is facing the first through hole (121). The limit assembly (3) is installed in the limit hole (2111). The limit assembly (3) includes a first elastic element (31) and a limit element (32).
MODULAR SMART QUICK CONNECT DEVICE FOR ELECTRICAL FIXTURES
An electrical fixture has a plug or socket of the type including concentric terminal rings, the plug having a spindle that is releasably receivable within a central channel of the socket to form a latch. Either the plug or the socket is attached to a hub having peripheral electrical connectors. Modules can be connected to the hub by the peripheral electrical connectors, the modules including electrical components each having one or more features. The modules are selectable for desired features, including transmitting and receiving, or sensing a condition in the environment, such as a security camera, glass breakage detector, motion/presence detector, and lighting. The hub can include a central circuit board which is electrically connected to the peripherally attached modules. The hub is further connected to electrical wiring of the edifice within which the fixture is installed.
TURNABLE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR AND CABLE ASSEMBLY
An electrical cable connector, assembly, system, and/or method is disclosed that includes a pin side connector comprising a plurality of conductor members and one or more insulator members alternating along a longitudinal axis, each of the plurality of conductor members having a base and a stem extending from the base and configured to electrically connect to one or more wires; and a socket connector comprising a plurality of conductive elements and one or more insulative elements arranged along the longitudinal axis, wherein each of the plurality of conductive elements has a center channel and each of the one or more insulative elements has a through-hole, wherein the center channels of each of the plurality of conductive elements and the through-holes of each of the one or more insulative elements are aligned and configured to form a receptacle in communication with an end opening, wherein the pin side connector is received in and freely rotatable with respect to the receptacle of the socket connector.
Connector receptacle with improved mating retention and release
A connector receptacle for connecting with a corresponding connector plug coupled with electrodes being used for performing EMG procedure on a patient is provided. The receptacle includes a first ball bearing pressing against a first end of a housing of the plug and, preferably, a second ball bearing pressing against a first end of the housing of the plug when the plug is connected to the receptacle for exerting a retention force against the plug. The first and the second ball bearings are pressed against the first and the second ends respectively by using a spring force generated, for example, by a retention band.
