PLUG RETENTION SYSTEM
Retention components are provided that are configured to retain a first end of an electrical cord in a plugged configuration with an electrical outlet. The retention components have an interior sized to receive the first end therein and include an wire opening having at least one dimension that is smaller than the corresponding dimension of the first end so that the first end cannot pass therethrough. In one form, a wall plate is provided having retention portion configured to retain a first end of an electrical cord, such that with the wall plate secured to a wall or other substrate, the first end of the electrical cord is retained between the wall and the wall plate.
ELECTRICAL UNIT AND ASSEMBLY
An electrical unit includes a housing member, a slider configured to slide along an outer surface of the housing member and selectively retain an electrical connector relative to the housing member, and a bracket connected to the housing member. The bracket may restrict movement of the slider in at least one direction. The slider may include a collar and/or a leg. The leg may extend substantially perpendicularly from the collar. The electrical unit may include a second bracket. The housing member may include a first bracket recess and/or a second bracket recess.
Electric plug lockers
Devices, systems, and methods of operating the same are described. The method may include attaching a first loop of a male connector to a first end of a first plug. The method may include attaching a second loop of a female connector to a second end of a second plug. The method may include connecting a first end of the first plug to the second end of the second plug. The method may include connecting a male fastener of the male connector to a female fastener of the female connector.
REMOTE CONTROL TERMINAL
A remote control terminal includes a connection cable, a remote control main body, and a holding mechanism. The connection cable includes a first connection terminal, a second connection terminal, and a connection wire. The connection wire is between the first connection terminal and the second connection terminal. The remote control main body includes an electrical connection interface at a side of the remote control main body. The electrical connection interface is configured to be coupled to the first connection terminal. The holding mechanism is connected to the remote control main body and configured to move relative to the remote control main body to switch between an extended state and a contracted state. The holding mechanism includes a positioning mechanism. The positioning mechanism is configured to position the second connection terminal.
DRAIN CLEANER CORD RETENTION SYSTEM
Electrical power supply cord retention systems are described. Also described are drain cleaning machines using such cord retention systems. In addition, methods of selectively retaining power cords in association with drain cleaning machines are described.
Frictional locking receptacle with programmable release
A method and apparatus for securing an electrical connection formed by a mating structure including prongs of a male assembly and receptacles of a female assembly are provided. In certain embodiments, the electrical connection can be secured by frictional engagement between the plug and receptacle housings. This can be accomplished by forcing a wedge into an interface between the housings or expanding a locking element, such as an elastomeric ring, into the interface. Such locking and releasing of the secure connection can be actuated using a locking nut.
Fastener devices to secure connections
There is provided a fastener device and methods of using a fastener device, the device comprising a body having a first end comprising a supporting portion adapted to support at least a rear surface of a connector plug and a second opposite end comprising a latching portion adapted to engage at least a rear surface of a socket when the connector plug is inserted into the socket.
Double side adjustable electrical cord securement device
A system for securing an electrical connection is provided comprising a first half having a cord end and an open end and a second half, having a cord end and an open end. The cord ends of the first and second half each include a cord opening allowing a first and second cord to pass through the opening while holding a first and second electrical connector attached to each cord, and with the connectors engaged, the open ends include a means for securely attaching to each other thereby preventing disconnect of the engaged connectors.
