CORD RESTRAINT FOR ELECTRICAL CORDS
A device and method for holding an electrical cord, such as a cellular phone charging cord, so that the electrical cord is easily restrained, located and retrieved. The device may be constructed of a flexible body that may be in any desirable shape. The body is provided with a slit that extends some distance, and in some embodiments, approximately halfway through the body. An electrical cord can be inserted through the slit. At the center of the body, the slit is enlarged to form a channel for receiving the cord. With the cord thus secured within the channel, the body makes the cord easier to find and less likely to slip or fall off of a surface where the cord is to be placed.
Power plug retention device
A power plug retention device for use with a power plug inserted in a power receptacle is provided. The power plug retention device includes a body including an insertion portion and a gripping portion formed along an insertion axis of the body. The insertion portion is shaped as a wedge configured to be inserted in a gap between the power plug and the power receptacle. The gripping portion includes an insertion force receiving surface formed orthogonal to the insertion axis and configured to receive an insertion force from a user in an insertion direction along the insertion axis to thereby insert and lodge the wedge in the gap to form an interference fit between the wedge, the power plug, and the power receptacle when the wedge is inserted in the gap.
Cable keeper
A cable retention assembly comprising a housing defining a cable aperture extending axially through the housing and a retention aperture extending from an outside surface of the housing through the housing and opening into the cable aperture. A clamping mechanism may be disposed within the retention aperture. A hook may have an insert and a lip. The hook may be coupled to the housing via the clamping mechanism. The cable retention assembly according to the present invention can be used with all known cables including, but not limited to, USB cables.
Electrical cord connector for securing two electrical cords connected to one another
An electrical cord connector configured to secure a first electrical cord in electrical connection with a second electrical cord is provided including a first connector clamp configured to engage and secure the first electrical cord adjacent to a cord plug on the first electrical cord. A second connector clamp may be configured to engage and secure the second electrical cord adjacent to a cord socket on the second electrical cord. Each of the first connector clamp and the second connector clamp may include a clamp interior having a width or diameter less than a width or diameter of a cord plug on the first electrical cord and a cord socket on the second electrical cord. A connecting member may connect the second connector clamp to the first connector clamp with the first connector clamp engaging the cord plug on the first electrical cord and the second connector clamp engaging the cord socket on the second electrical cord.
Breakaway connectors for coaxial cables
A breakaway coaxial cable connector includes a conductive body configured to engage a cable. The conductive body is configured to be selectively coupled to an interface port to maintain electrical connectivity between the cable and the interface during operation of the connector when a first tension force below a predetermined threshold level is applied between the cable and the interface port, and the conductive body is configured to be selectively de-coupled from the interface port so as to interrupt electrical connectivity between the cable and the interface port during operation of the connector when a second tension force above the predetermined threshold level is applied between the cable and the interface port.
Cord restraint for electrical cords

With the cord thus secured within the channel, the body makes the cord easier to find and less likely to slip or fall off of a surface where the cord is to be placed.
NOVEL POWER CORD DETACHABLE STRUCTURE FOR PORTABLE HAIR CURLER
The disclosure discloses a novel power cord detachable structure for portable hair curler, including a power cord, an encapsulation is fixed to one end of the power cord, and an upper handle is fixed to the top of the encapsulation. By providing a fixing slot on the fixing sleeve and inserting the fixing sleeve into the appliance, the fixing sleeve is rotated to loose and fasten the fastener, thereby achieving the detaching effect. By providing and pushing the tail sleeve, the internal rotary lock is opened, the power cord is inserted into the product, the tail sleeve is loosened, and the fixing point inside the tail sleeve returns to the position where the lock is pushed, so that the power cord will not be detached. The tail sleeve is pushed so that the internal rotary lock is opened, and the power cord can be pulled out smoothly.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR LOCKING ELECTRICAL PLUGS TO POWER OUTLETS
The present invention comprises a method and a device for connecting and locking electrical plugs into power outlets. This prevents plugs from being shaken or accidentally withdrawn, and hence avoids any disturbance of electric current or occurrence of electric spark which may cause fires. In the case where no plug is plugged in, the current invention blocks the socket openings to prevent children from tampering with it or trying to insert any metal objects therein that might expose them to electric shocks. By this invention, an adult can connect and lock electrical plugs easily while it is impossible doing it by children. There are various embodiments of this invention making it suitable for use in many fields that need a continuous electrical feed without interruption such as medical devices, computers, factory equipment, and home appliances among many other examples.
Cable
A cable includes a line for signal transmission or power source supply, a first metal wire having flexibility and a shape-retaining property, a plurality of yarns extending substantially in the same direction as that of the first metal wire, and a coating material for coating the line, the first metal wire, and the plurality of yarns.
Fixing Sleeve for Firmly Fixing a Plug to a Socket, and Injector Assembly
A fixing sleeve firmly fixes a plug to a socket. The fixing sleeve has two half-shells, which delimit a receiving space for receiving at least one part of the plug. A fastener is arranged adjacently to a plug-side end face of the fixing sleeve. An injector assembly includes an injector with a socket, a cable fastened to the plug, and the fixing sleeve.
