An electronic device includes at least one cover, a shell removably coupled to the cover, a circuit board, a support member, and a plurality of connectors. The circuit board is received between the cover and the shell, and a plurality of groups signal terminals are mounted on the circuit board. The support member is mounted on the circuit board and coupled to the cover, and the support member defines a slanted portion. The plurality of connectors are located on the slanted portion and include a plurality of first type connectors and a plurality of second type connectors coupled to the corresponding plurality of the groups of signal terminals through the support member and positioned in a proper order. When the cover is detached from the shell, the plurality of first type connectors and second type connectors slide down along the slanted portion, fall off the slanted portion and become mixed up. An unauthorized user might not be able to replace them in the proper order and therefor tampering may be prevented.

A detachable and lockable socket includes a casing. The casing is provided with a controller, a socket unit, and a pin. The pin is connected with a silicone steel sheet. An outer periphery of the silicone steel sheet is provided with a coil. The controller is able to control the coil to be electrified or not. When the coil is electrified, the coil generates a magnetic field, enabling the pin to have a magnetic attraction force. The pin is attracted and locked to a conducting plate of a power source, avoiding looseness, disengagement and stealing.

A device that is placed between the electrical power source and electrical equipment such that power going to the equipment can be controlled, regulated, and monitored. An individual may request access to use the electrical equipment by means of unique identification. The device is able to compare the user's request for authentication via a locally stored list (database) or remotely situated list. The device contains audio and visual indications of the current status of power going to the electrical device. An apparatus is used to prevent a user from disconnecting electrical equipment from the device and reconnecting it directly to the power source. A related method of use is also claimed.

The present invention is a port connector securement device comprising a resting piece, a planar surface, and at least one projection extending from the bottom of the planar surface where the at least one projection rests within at least one slot of an USB port when the port connector securement device is slideably insertable, along with the USB cable into the USB port to ensure that the USB cable cannot be removed upon the port connector securement device insertion into the USB port.

A connector includes a locking lever that locks a fitted state with an inlet, a release button that is provided to be movable in Z-direction positive and negative directions and rotates the locking lever by moving in the Z-direction negative direction to release the locking, a release restricting portion that is provided to be movable in X-direction positive and negative directions and to be movable to an abutting position where the release restricting portion abuts against the release button, thereby restricting the movement in the Z-direction to negative direction of the release button at the abutting position to restrict the release of the locking, a solenoid as a moving portion that moves the release restricting portion in the X-direction negative direction, and a coil spring that presses the release restricting portion in the X-direction positive direction.

Disclosed herein is a plug feature for an electronic device. More specifically, the plug feature described herein is used to plug, fill or otherwise seal an aperture associated with a SIM tray of an electronic device. The plug feature may be coupled to an ejection mechanism and may extend at least partially into an aperture defined by the SIM tray and/or an aperture defined by the housing of the electronic device.

An electrical receptacle including a body having a plurality of electrical connections, a device face connected to the body and movable with respect to the body, a plurality of electrical plug contacts positioned behind the device face, and wherein the electrical plug contacts retain an electrical plug prong at a first tension when the device face is in a first position and the electrical plug contacts retain the electrical plug prong at a second tension when the device face is in a second position.

Provided is a USB port locking device including: a blocking member having a blocking coupling part to block access of an external device; an external USB port part connected to the blocking member and to which an external USB connection port is insertively coupled; a signal connection part enabling signal transmission between a terminal inside the USB port of the electronic device and the external USB connecting port; a locking member selectively locked to the electronic device so that the blocking member is not forcedly removed; a stopping member selectively blocking an unauthorized external USB connecting port from being inserted into the external USB port part; and a lock member controlling a locking operation of the locking member and a blocking operation of the stopping member by interfering with the locking member and the stopping member when they are inserted into the blocking member.

A locking device for one or more data ports, each data port comprising a female jack configured to receive and provide an electrical connection for a male connector. The locking device comprising a locking member comprising one or more retention prongs, wherein the locking member is configured to move between an unlocked position and a locked position, each of the one or more retention prongs extend through a corresponding aperture disposed in a female jack of the one or more data ports when the locking member is in the locked position, and when one of the male connectors is inserted into the corresponding female jack, at least one of the one or more retention prongs extend through an aperture disposed in the male connector and the aperture disposed in the corresponding female jack when the locking member is in the locked position such that the male connector cannot be removed from the corresponding female jack.

A method of connecting and using a safety cover for a socket that includes a front plate connected to a rear box using one or more screw-headed bolts includes the steps of loosening, but not removing, the one or more screw-headed bolts connecting the front plate to the rear box, moving the front plate outward away from the rear box so that a frame included with the safety cover can be slid onto the front plate, sliding the frame onto the front plate so that a lip included with the frame is disposed between the front plate and the rear box, and tightening the one or more screw-headed bolts so that the front plate is connected to the rear box with the lip from the frame gripped between the front plate and the rear box.
