A contact portion is provided on the elastic arm and is exposed to the first main body in a left-right direction to be in contact with the mating member.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
An electrical connector includes an insulating body having a mating surface. An insertion slot is concavely provided on the mating surface. Two side walls are located at two sides of the insertion slot. A slot bottom surface is formed on a concave direction of the insertion slot. One of the side walls is provided with aground accommodating slot and a signal accommodating slot. A signal terminal and a ground terminal are provided on the one of the side walls. The signal terminal is accommodated in the signal accommodating slot. The ground terminal is accommodated in the ground accommodating slot. A side of the insulating plug member has a first portion corresponding to the signal accommodating slot and a second portion corresponding to the ground accommodating slot. The first portion is accommodated in the signal accommodating slot and is provided closer to the mating surface than the slot bottom surface.

Electrical connector
An electrical connector is mounted on a circuit board and used to mate with a mating member. The electrical connector includes: a body made of a wave-absorbing material, the body having an upper surface, a lower surface and at least one first accommodating groove; and at least one ground terminal accommodated in the first accommodating groove. An upper end of the ground terminal is exposed to the upper surface and is in electrical contact with the mating member, and a lower end of the ground terminal is exposed to the lower surface and is electrically connected with the circuit board.
Electrical connector improving high frequency characteristics
An electrical connector includes: an insulating block, provided with at least one adjusting groove; and a plurality of terminals, fixed to the insulating block and arranged in at least one row. The terminals include at least one pair of differential signal terminals and at least two ground terminals. Each of two opposite sides of the pair of differential signal terminals is provided with a corresponding one of the ground terminals. The adjusting groove is provided between only one of the two opposite sides of the pair of differential signal terminals and the corresponding one of the ground terminals, such that electric charges and electric fields between the pair of differential signal terminals and the ground terminals at the two sides are not distributed uniformly, thus reducing the ground mode resonance of the ground terminals to the differential signal terminals, and improving the high frequency performance of the electrical connector.
High speed electrical connector assembly
A high speed electrical connector assembly includes a mating female connector with sockets and male connector with pins. The female connector includes a connector body formed to define a mount face surface and contact face surface and one or more apertures extending therebetween. One or more sockets are positioned in the connector body apertures. The socket includes a mount portion and a pin receiving portion and the mount portion is configured for engaging an internal surface of the aperture proximate the mount face surface for securing the socket in the aperture. The pin receiving portion is maintained in a free-floating position away from the internal surface of the aperture with a tip end of the pin receiving portion being positioned below the contact face surface. An air gap is formed in the aperture around the free-floating portion and tip end.
Electrical connector providing reduced crosstalk with improved signal transmission
An electrical connector includes: an insulating body, a first terminal and a second terminal. The insulating body is provided with a mating slot. At least one side of the mating slot is provided with two accommodating holes, and the accommodating holes are in communication with the mating slot. One end of the first terminal has a first contact located in a first accommodating hole, and a first distance exists between the first contact and an inner wall of the first accommodating hole. One end of the second terminal has a second contact. A width of the second contact is equal to a width of the first contact. The second contact is located in a second accommodating hole. A second distance exists between the second contact and an inner wall of the second accommodating hole. By reducing the second distance, the second distance is less than the first distance.
Electrical connector having reduced crosstalk with improved signal transmission
An electrical connector includes: a first terminal with one end having a first contact and a second terminal with one end having a second contact. The first contact is located in a first accommodating hole, and a first distance exists between the first contact and an inner wall of the first accommodating hole. A width of the second contact is greater than a width of the first contact. The second contact is located in a second accommodating hole, and a second distance exists between the second contact and the inner wall of the second accommodating hole. A width of the first accommodating hole at the first contact is equal to a width of the second accommodating hole at the second contact, and the first distance is greater than the second distance.
