CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
20230275373 · 2023-08-31 ·

A connector assembly enables electrically safe disconnection and separation because it is possible to secure an interval between the point of time of separation of interlock terminals and the point of time of separation of power terminals when connectors are separated. The connector assembly can implement two steps of cutting power after restricting a lever in a locked state and then completely disconnecting connectors by additionally operating the lever by including an intermediate locking mechanism that restricts the lever for disconnecting connectors in a state in which interlock terminals of two connectors are separated from each other but power terminals of the two connectors are in contact with each other to disconnect and separate female and male connectors.

Switch construction

A switch assembly includes a switch and a connector. The switch and the connector are configured to interlock, wherein the switch includes a connection extending at least partially along a center axis of the switch, and the connection is configured to receive at least a part of the connector. The connection may include at least one slot and at least one wedge-shaped groove which is extending from the at least one slot and tapered in a direction of the center axis. The connector may include at least one corresponding wedge-shaped protrusion. The at least one corresponding wedge-shaped protrusion may include a resilient contact blade which can interlock with the at least one wedge-shaped groove.

A seal cover (1) is provided for closing an opening portion (10) in a device in which a standby connector (11) is disposed. The standby connector (11) includes male terminals 11B for switching a state of an energizing circuit between a conductive state and a non-conductive state. Female terminals (23B), a shaft seal (25) and an O-ring (23D) are arranged in such a positional relationship that a time point when the shaft seal (25) is compressed maximally, a time point when the O-ring (23D) is compressed maximally and a time point when the female terminals (23B) are resiliently deformed maximally do not overlap with each other when the seal cover (1) is mounted on the opening portion (10).

Intelligent power connecting method and intelligent connector

An intelligent power connecting device includes two connecting units to be connected and on-off units. The connecting units have conductor parts, insulation parts, and trigger units; the on-off units are electrically connected with the trigger units; delay units can be connected in series between the on-off units and the trigger units. A short circuit or electric leakage caused by instant electric conduction of the connector in a connecting process can be avoided. Intelligent control is achieved and the short circuit or electric leakage phenomenon caused by instant electric conduction is prevented during connection in the complex environment; electrified positions of the connector are fully isolated from the external environment and the connector is intelligently controlled; the insulation parts of the connector can achieve sealing isolation, the connected positions are effectively isolated from the complex external environment, and thus the two connecting units can be intelligently connected in the complex environment.

Connector and Connector Assembly

The present invention discloses a connector and a connector assembly. The connector comprises a housing, a connection assembly, a safety cover and a high-voltage interlock. During mating the connector with the mating connector, when the connection assembly is not fastened, the connection assembly is in a position of interference with the safety cover to prevent the safety cover from being moved from an initial position to a safety position. The safety cover and the high-voltage interlock are slidably connected. When the safety cover is moved to the initial position, the high-voltage interlock is moved to a disconnected position, and when the safety cover is moved to the safety position, the high-voltage interlock is moved to a connected position. The high-voltage interlock is separated from the mating high-voltage interlock before the terminal is electrically connected with the mating terminal, improving use safety of the connector.

Variable spacing electrical adapter

An electrical adapter including one stationary, 15 amp terminal blade and ground pin and one movable, 15 amp terminal blade and ground pin, each in connection with a 30 amp terminal receptacle and terminal ground receptacle, respectively. The 15 amp terminal blades and ground pins provide a mechanism to convert an electrical signal between the 30 amp source and the 15 amp source, and the adjustable 15 amp terminal blade and ground pin provide functionality to account for the difference in distance between the outlets on a standard 15 amp outlet and a 15 amp ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) outlet.

A connector used in underwater environments includes a male connector with a sensing terminal and two power terminals, a female connector with a sensing terminal block and two power terminal blocks, and an elastic gasket set between the male connector and the female connector. When the male connector and the female connector are plugged into each other, and the male and female connectors squeeze the elastic gasket to form a large amount of deformation, the sensing terminal and the sensing terminal block are in contact with each other. When the male and female connectors squeeze the elastic gasket to form a small deformation state, the sensing terminal and the sensing terminal block are separated from each other, and the power terminals and the power terminal blocks are in contact with each other, thereby forming a waterproof protection mechanism.
