An electrical receptacle including a body having a plurality of electrical connections, a device face connected to the body, and wherein the device face is movable with respect to the body from an electrically inactive position to an electrically active position. The electrical receptacle may further include at least one pair of electrical contacts which are in electrical continuity when the electrical receptacle is in an electrically active position.

Internally switched female receptacle or connector with plug-latching safety interlock

An internally switched female receptacle or connector for use with IEC 60309-2 configuration plugs and the like. Various plug-latching and plug-actuated safety interlock arrangements coordinate strictly axial plug movement relative to the receptacle with the closing and opening of sleeve contacts and terminal pressure contacts. A continuous ground feature ensures grounding of the primary electrical circuit throughout plug insertion and withdrawal. An optional low-current lighting control circuit powers an LED status indicator. A modular clocking design enables variable angular positioning of the terminals during manufacture.

Improvements are disclosed to known twist-lock electrical connectors, whose plug blades form parallel segments of a common cylindrical form. After insertion in a compatible receptacle, rotating the connectors relative to each other engages features intended to prevent accidental separation, but which do not positively lock. An improved plug is disclosed providing positive locking and with prior art receptacles.

An electrical connector includes a first plug-connection module and a second plug-connection module, and the first plug-connection module and the second plug-connection module fit with each other through a plug-connection in a first direction. The first plug-connection module includes a first housing component and a first wiring portion. The second plug-connection module includes a second housing component, a second wiring portion, and a sliding conductor. A locking mechanism and a trigger mechanism are disposed between the first plug-connection module and the second plug-connection module; and while the locking mechanism is in a locked state, the locking mechanism locks the sliding conductor and the first wiring portion, to keep the sliding conductor connected to the first wiring portion. An elastic reset member is disposed between the second housing component and the sliding conductor.

Track Adapter and the Driving Power Supply and Track Light Thereof

A track adapter has a mounting seat, an electrical supply column, an adjustment conductive portion, and an adjustment knob, and a drive mechanism. As to the track adapter and the driving power supply with the track adapter and the track light, the lamp holder of the track lamp can wrap the whole track, which is neat and beautiful, and solve the problem of difficult phase adjustment of adaptor in the prior art at the same time. The phase adjustment knob is shrunk and put on the top of the adaptor, which solves the adjustment problem and adapts to more occasions, so that the structural design of the track lamp is more flexible.

Locking electrical contact device with switch

An electrical connector assembly includes a first electrical contact device and a second electrical contact device. The first electrical contact device includes a plurality of conductors. The second electrical contact device includes a first portion, a second portion movable in a rotational and translational manner relative to the first portion, and an actuator movable between a first position and a second position. The first portion includes first electrical contacts, and the second portion includes electrical sockets. Each socket receives an associated conductor and includes a second electrical contact aligned with an associated first electrical contact. The second portion is biased away from the first portion. When the actuator is in the first position, the actuator inhibits translational movement of the second portion toward the first portion. When the actuator is in the second position, the second portion is movable toward the first portion to permit the second electrical contacts to engage the first electrical contacts.
