A receptacle assembly includes a receptacle cage having walls defining a cavity extending between a front and a rear and having a module channel receiving a pluggable module. The walls include a top wall, a bottom wall and first and second sidewalls extending from the top wall to the bottom wall. The cavity is open at the rear to receive a cabled receptacle connector in the module channel and the cavity is open at the front to receive the pluggable module therein. A mounting panel extends from the bottom wall and has a mounting surface below the bottom wall for supporting the bottom wall of the receptacle cage at an elevated position above the mounting surface.

A receptacle assembly includes a receptacle cage having walls defining a cavity extending between a front and a rear and having a module channel receiving a pluggable module. The walls include a top wall, a bottom wall and first and second sidewalls extending from the top wall to the bottom wall. A wall cover plate is provided for connecting directly to an electrical wiring device without the use of the base plate or adapter plate. The wall plate can have a connector such as a hook and/or prong that engages the housing for the mounting strap of the electrical wiring device, The electrical wiring device can include a removable connector attached to the mounting strap where the connector has at least one edge or coupling member for coupling with a faceplate. The faceplate can have an inner edge with a rib or series of teeth for connecting with the mounting strap or the removable connector by an interference fit.

An HVAC thermostat assembly has a wall-plate connector that includes a wall-plate and wire connectors as a whole that allows for a thinner, more aesthetic design. In one instance, the HVAC thermostat includes a display unit with a wall-plate connector recess having a plurality of electrical connector pins extending outward to mate with a wall-plate connector. The wall-plate connector includes a wall plate with incorporated electrical terminals. Other assemblies and systems are disclosed.

A receptacle connector assembly includes a receptacle cage having first and second side walls extending from a top wall to form a module channel configured to receive a pluggable module. The top wall is non-planar and has a shroud extending therefrom forming a cage polarization feature. The shroud has a first shroud side wall, a second shroud side wall and a shroud top wall forming a polarization feature channel configured to receive a polarization feature of the pluggable module.

Example embodiments relate to luminaire heads with interconnecting interfaces. One example luminaire head including an interconnected interface for an electronic device includes a support layer and a cover layer arranged over the support layer. The support layer includes a plurality of electrical tracks arranged on a surface of the support layer and connectable to a power supply of the luminaire head. The support layer also includes a first electrical connector. The first electrical connector is connected to at least one of the plurality of electrical tracks and is suited for connecting to the electronic device. Further, the support layer includes a second electrical connector. The second electrical connector is directly connected to the first electrical connector via the at least one of the plurality of electrical tracks. An upper surface of the cover layer includes a first opening and at least one retaining means.

An electrical outlet that is structured to be mounted to a wall and to be electrically connected with an AC power source employs a removable and replaceable power module that includes its own USB power outlets. The electrical outlet includes a base having a receptacle formed therein within which the power module is receivable. The base additionally includes its own AC power outlets. The power module may include, for example, one or more USB power outlets, such as USB type-A outlets, and the power module can easily be removed and replaced with an alternative power module that includes, for example, one or more USB type-C power outlets.

A power adapter, comprising an adapter body, a power cord and a snap-fitting cover, the adapter body is provided with a socket, the power cord is provided with a plug plugged in and connected with the socket, and the snap-fitting cover includes the snap-fitting portion and the fixing portion, the fixing portion is movably connected to the end of the adapter body, the snap-fitting portion is provided with a groove which is shapely matched with the plug, and a groove is snap-fitted to the outer side of the plug.
