DETACHABLE HEADER HOUSING FOR A HEADER CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY, AND METHOD FOR DISASSEMBLING OR ASSEMBLING THEREOF
A shielded sealed header connector assembly having a detachable header housing, which is comprised of a outer shell and a metal shield member, and inner housing. The header housing is secured on a metal case with bolts and attached with an inner housing. The metal shield member, shields or seals the inner housing from EMI, external damage, either due to physical impact or from environmental contaminants. A method for detaching the header housing includes steps of unsecuring the header housing from the metal case by removing bolts and unlocking it from the inner housing while the inner housing maintains connection to a electrical device. A method for attaching a serviced, repaired, replaced or new header housing includes steps of attaching the header connector to the metal case with bolts; and locking the header connector to the inner housing, while maintaining the connection of the inner housing to the electrical device.
DETACHABLE OUTER SHELL FOR A SHIELDED DEVICE CONNECTOR, AND METHOD FOR DISASSEMBLING OR ASSEMBLING THEREOF
A detachable outer shell, which is comprised of a header connector with a shield member, for a shielded device connector. The header connector with a shield member is detachably assembled, attached, or mounted onto a housing of a shielded device connector, while the shielded device preferably remains connected to an electrical device. A method for detaching the outer shell for the shielded device connector includes the steps of detaching the header connector with the shield member of the outer shell, which may require service, repair or replacement, from the housing of the shielded device; and disassembling or removing the header connector with the shield member of the outer shell from the housing of the shielded device connector, while maintaining connection of the shielded device to the electrical device.
method for attaching the outer shell for the shielded device connector includes the steps of attaching the header connector with the shield member of the outer shell, which may been serviced, repaired, or replaced, onto the housing of the shielded device connector; and assembling, mounting, or connecting the header connector with the shield member of the outer shell back onto the housing of the shielded device connector, while maintaining the connection of the shielded device connector to the electrical device.
Connector with improved terminal locking device
Included are terminal metal parts mounted on ends of electric wires, a housing housing the terminal metal parts at a housing completion position thereinside and to be inserted and fit into a counterpart fitting portion headed by a tip, a terminal locking member mounted on the housing from outside along a direction crossing an insertion direction of the housing to the counterpart fitting portion and locking the terminal metal parts as they are at the housing completion position at a mounting completion position with respect to the housing, and a front holder causing the housing to be inserted headed by the tip and locking the terminal locking member at the mounting completion position.
Header Backing Plate
An electrical connector assembly comprises a header and a backing plate attachable thereto. The header includes a plug portion for connecting to a complementary mating connector, and a base having a plurality of mounting through holes for fixing the header to a mounting surface. The backing plate includes a plurality of mounting elements corresponding in location to the plurality of mounting holes of the header for fixing the backing plate to the header on an underside of the mounting surface, and a central opening corresponding in location to the plug portion of the header with the backing plate fixed to the header.
Connector that includes holding body with covering part
A connector includes an insulating housing that is fixed to a casing of a first device at a communication part through which an opening of the casing of the first device and as opening of a casing of a second device communicate with each other, a conductor unit including a plurality of conductors arranged in a row and an insulating holding body integrally molded with the conductors, and a sealing member that seals between the conductor unit and the housing. Each of the conductors includes a plate-shaped body. The holding body includes a fitting part fitted to the housing, a plurality of covering parts each extending from the fitting part along the body and individually surrounding the body, and a connecting part connecting the adjacent covering parts at a position separated from the fitting part.
Connector having housing and sealing member
A connector includes an insulating housing that is fixed to a casing of a first device, a plurality of conductors to electrically connect the first device and the second device, an insulating sealing member that includes a plurality of annular sealing parts that seal between the conductors and the housing and a connecting part that connects the sealing parts, and an insulating support member that includes second through holes into which the conductors are inserted, is attached to the housing from a side of the second device, and supports the sealing parts. The housing and the sealing member have a first fitting structure in which they are fitted to each other along an axial direction of the conductor, and the sealing member and the support member have a second fitting structure in which they are fitted to each other along the axial direction of the conductor.
Powered wall plate
A powered wall plate with at least two electrical plug prongs configured to removably mate with an electrical receptacle of an electrical device. A protruding front face extends from the front surface and has a plurality of electrical current apertures extending into the front face, which are configured to receive an electrical plug. A plurality of mounting screw apertures extend through the wall plate, configured to receive a plurality of mounting screws to attach the wall plate to the electrical device. One of the mounting screw apertures may be located on the front face. A spacer may be placed between the wall plate and the electrical device to close a gap. A plurality of LED lights is located along a bottom edge of the front surface, a photocell is exposed on the front surface of the wall plate, and a control switch has an on position, an off position, and an auto position. A circuit between the front face and a rear surface of the wall plate is operatively coupled to a USB port on a side surface of the front face. The USB port is configured to provide power when power is supplied to the at least two electrical plug prongs.
HOLDING ASSEMBLY FOR AN AUTOMOTIVE CHARGING SYSTEM
A holding assembly for holding an electrical charging device includes: a base plate having an upper side and at least one latching hook which extends from the upper side of the base plate and which latches with a latching contour of the charging device; and a securing frame which is attached to the base plate so as to be movable between a first position and a second position and clamps the latching hook in an open state in the first position and to secure the latching hook in a closed state in the second position.
