A pass-through connector for a battery pack having a hermetic casing is disclosed. The pass-through connector has a body including: a hermetic electrical, a first body portion defining a first connector portion, a second body portion opposite the first body portion, and a flange connected to and projecting radially from the second body portion. The pass-through connector also has a second connector portion selectively connected to the first connector portion, and a gasket abutting an engagement surface of the flange and adapted for providing a hermetic seal between the pass-through connector and the casing. At least one of the first body portion and the second connector portion defines at least one recess for permitting gas exchange in and out of the casing. A battery pack having the pass-through connector, and a method for introducing at least one gas in a hermetically sealable casing for a battery pack are also disclosed.
Poke-through electrical outlet assembly with closure
An electrical power and/or electronic data unit is mountable in a floor, and is fitted with an upper bezel that is openable and closable to provide selective access to one or more electrical power or data outlets. A bezel supports one or more shutters that are movable between open and closed positions. Optionally, the shutters are supported on an openable main door that provides additional access to the outlets when the main door is open. The main door can be closed and opened with the shutters in either the open or closed positions. Respective top surfaces of the shutters, the main door, and the bezel may be co-planar when the main door and shutters are closed, and the shutters may be hidden entirely beneath the main door when the main door is closed and the shutters are open.
Electrical connector with shield shell for connecting to case
A connector includes: a terminal metal fitting that is connected to an electric wire and is configured to be inserted into a connector insertion hole of a metal case of a counterpart device from an opening; a housing includes a connector insertion part configured to be inserted into the connector insertion hole from the opening together with the terminal metal fitting; a liquid seal member that is configured to seal a gap between the housing and a rim of the opening in the case; a shield shell that includes a cylindrical accommodation body accommodating the housing therein, an annular flange configured to be opposed to an annular surface around the rim of the opening in the case, and a fixed part configured to be fixed to the case; and an annular interposed member that is configured to be interposed between the flange and the annular surface to be sandwiched therebetween.
ELECTRONIC PART WITH INTEGRATED FUSE
A fuse-integrated electronic component connected to a power supply part includes an outer housing fixed by a first coupling member in a state in which housings are engaged with each other to define an accommodation space and in which an extension part is disposed at one side thereof, an inner body installed in the accommodation space by a second coupling member to define a mounting space, a connector electrically connected to the outer housing so that the extension part is accommodated therein, and a fuse installed in the mounting space to cut off a high voltage output to the connector. The first coupling member is coupled and released between the outer housing and the power supply part so that the first coupling member is released in a state of being separated from the power supply part, to doubly cut off the power when the fuse is replaced.
CONNECTOR
A connector includes a housing; and an annular packing to be sandwiched between the housing and a mating component. The packing has: an annular seal portion protruding toward a radially outer side, and an annular depressed portion located on a surface of the seal portion on the radially inner side and depressed toward the radially outer side. An edge of the depressed portion is positioned on one side with respect to a protruding end of the seal portion. When the housing and the mating component are fitted to each other, the protruding end of the seal portion is in contact with the mating component, the edges of the depressed portion are in contact with the housing, and the end portion is displaced in a direction away from the housing to warp with a vicinity of the edge on the one side as a center.
SCREW ASSEMBLY FOR SECURING CONNECTORS
A system includes a jack screw including a body portion and a keyed portion extending along a length of the body portion. The system includes a panel including a first aperture configured to receive the jack screw. The system includes a connector including a second aperture configured to receive the jack screw. The system includes a plate including a third aperture configured to receive the jack screw, where the jack screw is configured to be aligned along an axis through the first aperture, the second aperture, and the third plate aperture, where a portion of the body portion of the jack screw extends past a locking plate.
CONNECTOR APPARATUS FOR A BATTERY
A connector apparatus for a battery includes: a connector block assembly mounted in a battery case of a battery assembly, and including first and second electrodes facing the interior of the battery case; and a header assembly releasably mounted to the connector block assembly, and including first and second terminals connected to the first and second electrodes, respectively. The header assembly is exposed to the exterior of the battery case and the first and second terminals are electrically connected to terminals of a mating connector, respectively.
Cable receptacle connector
A contact assembly includes a signal leadframe including signal contacts each extending between a mating end and a terminating end and a ground leadframe separate and discrete from the signal leadframe including ground contacts each extending between a mating end and a terminating end. Each ground contact includes a central transition section between the mating end and the terminating end and a ground tie bar extending between each of the central transition sections and extending across the signal contacts. The contact assembly includes a front contact holder holding the signal contacts of the signal leadframe and holding the ground contacts of the ground leadframe. The front contact holder surrounds the central transition sections of the ground contacts and electrically isolates the ground tie bar from the signal contacts.
PASS-THROUGH CONNECTOR FOR A BATTERY PACK, BATTERY PACK, AND METHOD FOR INTRODUCING AT LEAST ONE GAS IN A HERMETICALLY SEALABLE CASING FOR A BATTERY PACK
Adjustable transition coupler
An adjustable transition coupler for coupling AC/MC to conduit, having a body with a hollow cylindrical section and an extension member, the cylindrical section having a slot to allow passage of a stop plate. The coupler has an insulator (armor stop) with a hollow bushing at one end for insertion into a cavity of the cylindrical section and a stop plate extending radially outward, the stop plate movable by an adjustment screw between minimum and maximum deflections. The stop plate stops AC/MC from passage into the cylindrical section. The hollow bushing stops the conduit positioned in the hollow cylindrical section from passage into the extension member. The coupler has a strap to secure AC having different outer sheath diameters. Snap tabs on the insulator fit into holes in the body while a rib on the stop plate passes through a notch in the slot to facilitate installation and minimize movement.
