The present disclosure relates to telephone jack covering systems that advantageously render existing telephone jacks more attractive and useful. The systems disclosed include a novel bracket that allows for existing telephone jacks to be covered with decorative and functional devices. In a preferred embodiment, an existing telephone jack is outfitted with a bracket and covered with a converter device that converts the existing telephone jack into a smart device charging station.

Vented electrical connector

An electrical connector includes a connector housing configured for attachment to an electrical enclosure. A first side of the connector housing faces an inside of the electrical enclosure and a second side of the connector housing faces an outside of the electrical enclosure. The connector housing may include a connector aperture configured to receive an electrical conductor, which may extend between the first and second sides of the connector housing. The connector housing may further include a ventilation pathway separate from the connector aperture that defines a fluid communication path between the first side and the second side of the connector housing.

ELECTRICAL OUTLET MOUNTS AND ILLUMINATION FOR CONDUCTIVE PANEL ASSEMBLIES
20210203115 · 2021-07-01 · ·

An electrical outlet mount for externally mounting on a pair of conductive panes or conductive material on a pair of non-conductive panes. The mount is used for powering electrical/electronic elements and can be installed quickly and easily, and which offers an attractive finish with unobstructed view. The electrical outlet mount has a back end and a front end, a first electrical contact element located at the back end arranged for electrical contact with a first conductive panel and a second electrical contact element located towards the front end, in spaced arrangement from the first electrical contact element for electrical contact with a second conductive panel. The electrical outlet mount may extend out through an opening in one of the panels to receive electrical/electronic elements disposed externally to such space.

Connector

A connector attached to a device, includes a main body made from resin and having an annular shape, a wire including a terminal, and a shield shell that covers at least a portion of the main body. The shield shell is fixed to the device such that a gap exists between the shield shell and the main body. Protrusions are provided on at least one of (i) a section of the shield shell covering the main body or (ii) a section of the main body covered by the shield shell, the protrusions protruding toward the section of the shield shell or the section of the main body. The protrusions surround a fastening position where the terminal and the terminal fixing section are fastened together.

COMMUNICATION SYSTEM HAVING CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY

A connector assembly includes a connector module having a connector body with side edges and end edges. The connector body has contact channels holding contacts. The connector assembly includes a mounting frame having side walls and an end wall opposite a window between the side walls. The window is open to and provides access to a passage that receives the connector module. The mounting frame includes a connector module support structure for supporting the connector module in the passage that defines a confined space oversized relative to the connector body of the connector module to allow a limited amount of floating movement in the confined space in a lateral direction that is perpendicular to the mating direction.

Connector with retainer for holding obliquely wound spring

A connector, including: a first connector including a first housing and a tubular first shield made of metal and supported in the first housing; a second connector including a second housing to be coupled to the first housing and a tubular second shield made of metal and provided in the second housing, an axial end of the second shield r being arranged to overlap the first shield in a radial direction; an obliquely wound spring arranged between the first shield and the second shield in the radial direction, the obliquely wound spring making the first and second shields electrically conductive with each other; and a retainer made of an insulator, the retainer including a spring holder that holds the obliquely wound spring, the retainer being provided between the first shield and the second shield in the radial direction.
