The present disclosure provides a connector that can suppress deterioration of sealability of a case-side seal member between a case and a connector housing due to contact with a liquid including a salt. The connector 20 includes a connector housing 23 and a shield shell 24. Inside the connector housing 23, terminals 22 electrically connected to the ends of electric wires 21 are arranged. The connector housing 23 includes an insertion portion 31 that is inserted into a mounting hole 15 provided in a conductive case 12 that houses an inverter, and an outer placement portion 41 that is provided integrally with the insertion portion 31 and that is disposed outside the case 12. A case-side sealing member 61 seals a clearance between an outer peripheral surface of the insertion portion 31 and an inner peripheral surface of a mounting hole 15. A shield shell 24 is electrically connected to the case 12 and covers an outer periphery of the outer placement portion 41. The insertion portion 31 has a first intrusion suppression groove 38 continuously provided over the entire circumference of the insertion portion 31 in a portion between the case-side sealing member 61 and the outer placement portion 41 on the outer peripheral surface of the insertion portion 31.
