ELECTRICAL PORT DEVICE

An electrical port device having an electrical port and a cap or cover removable connected to the electrical port having a plug. A Y-shaped electrical cord or cable connects the electrical port to a pair of electrical receptacles. The Y-shaped electrical cord can include one electrical cord or cable section connected to the electrical port, a pair of electrical cord or cable sections connected to the pair of electrical receptacles, and a Y-shaped connector connecting the one electrical cord or cable section and the pair of electrical cord or cable sections. Further, the cap or cover and the electrical port have cooperating sealing surfaces to ensure watertight or waterproof sealing when the cap or cover is installed “on” the electrical port to prevent water or moisture reaching the plug.

A connector can include a bolt, a housing, a sealing member, and a holder. The housing can include a fixing part having a through hole into which the bolt is inserted, and an inserting part. The fixing part can be fixed to a wall part by the bolt and the inserting part can have a tubular shape that projects from the fixing part to be inserted into a hole part of the wall part. The sealing member can be mounted on an outer surface of the inserting part to seal between the inserting part and the hole part. The holder can include an abutting part that is positioned between an outer surface of the inserting part and the hole part, and the holder can be fixed to a distal end part of the inserting part.

INTEGRALLY SHIELDED CABLE CONNECTOR

A cable assembly with a shielded termination portion where signal conductors of a plurality of cables are directly mounted to tail portions of signal terminals of a cable connector. Shielding in the termination portion may be provided by interaction of a wave-shaped shield, tail portions of ground terminals between tail portions of the signal terminals, a cross bar connecting the ground terminals and an exposed portion of a cable shield. The wave-shaped shield may be mechanically connected to at least the tail portions of the ground terminals and may be configured to press the cable shields into the crossbar. Such a configuration improves signal transmission performance by providing a consistent shielding at the connection areas where the cables are mounted to the tail portions of the conductive terminals and at the same time eliminates the need of an intermediate circuit board and therefore reduces manufacturing costs.

TERMINAL BLOCK

A terminal block that is to be provided on a housing of a device that is to be mounted on a vehicle, the terminal block including: a seating that is to be fixed to the housing so as to close an opening of the housing; a tubular fitting that is formed on a front surface of the seating and is to be fitted to a mating connector; and a ring-shaped seal that is provided on a back surface of the seating.

A high-voltage cable connection structure includes a first connector to which a plurality of first high-voltage cables, each connected to a corresponding one of a plurality of terminals of a high-voltage battery, are connected, and a connector receptacle provided in a high-voltage control unit disposed outside a vehicle passenger compartment. Inserting the first connector into and pulling out the first connector from the connector receptacle allows connection and disconnection between the plurality of first high-voltage cables and the high-voltage control unit.
