Power distribution unit with interior busbars
A power distribution unit (“PDU”) comprises a housing, a power module mechanically connected to the housing, at least one outlet module separately and mechanically connected to the housing, and a communications module mechanically connected to the housing. The PDU includes busbars that are electrically connected to the modules.
ELECTRICAL JUNCTION BLOCK UTILIZING A PIVOTABLE CONNECTOR
An electrical system for use in a raceway includes a power cable and a junction block. The junction block includes junction block halves configured to form opposing halves of the junction block, a plurality of bus bars arranged within a bus bar cavity, and a hinged connector arranged on a face of a first of the junction block halves. The junction block halves are coupled to define a bus bar cavity within the junction block. Each of the bus bars are electrically coupled to a conductor of the power cable. The hinged connector is arranged opposite a second junction block half such that a portion of the hinged connector is rotatable about an axis that is parallel to a face of the first junction block half. The power cable is coupled to the junction block via the hinged connector.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR UTILIZING SINGLE-STACK TWO-WAY TERMINALS
An electrical connector for use in raceways includes first and second terminals for coupling to respective terminals of respective electrical components that are also configured for raceway use. The electrical connector also includes a housing that encloses and supports the first and second terminals. The first and second terminals extend outwardly from the electrical connector in opposite directions.
Electromagnetic pulse/high altitude electromagnetic pulse (EMP/HEMP) filter system
A filter design configured to operate in the medium voltage range of 1000 to 5000 volts, provides protection against Electromagnetic Pulse/High Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP/HEMP) intentional electromagnetic interference pulses. The filter utilizes no oil filled components to preclude the catastrophic failures (explosions) during operation. Many of the components incorporated in the present design are suited to absorbing harmonics without failing. In addition to mitigating E1 and E2 pulses, the filter is resistant to line harmonics which have proved to cause filter failure in past designs. The filter provides EMP/HEMP conducted pulse protection for downstream electronics inside hardened shelters for medium and high voltage applications.
SELF-SET HOME AUTOMATION AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE HOME AUTOMATION
A self-set home automation and method for handling the self-set home automation and the related devices including cascading intelligent support boxes and plug-in devices to provide simple to install and operate, with less wiring wherein the cascaded devices are optically linked, to include separated low voltage grid and related devices, and a converter for communicating RF, wifi and IR.
Refrigerator appliance having USB features
A refrigerator appliance having Universal Serial Bus (USB) features is provided. In one aspect, a refrigerator appliance has a cabinet defining a chamber. At least two shelf mounting tracks are disposed within chamber. A shelf having a USB port is mountable to the shelf tracks. The shelf tracks each include at least two bus bars. One bus bar is charged with a power charge, one is charged with a ground charge, one is charged with a positive data charge, and one is charged with a negative data charge. When the shelf is mounted to the tracks, the bus bars are in electrical communication with the USB port of the shelf such that data transmissions can be routed between the USB port and a controller or some other processing device. In another aspect, a refrigerator appliance includes features for enabling USB data transmissions to a bin mounted in a door thereof.
ELECTRIC CONNECTION PART
There is provided an electric connection part including: a nut made of a metal, the nut being used for fixing a conductor; and a housing made of a resin, the housing having a press-fit groove into which the nut is press-fitted. The housing includes: a rib that protrudes from an inner side surface of the press-fit groove and extends along a press-fitting direction in which the nut is press-fitted into the press-fit groove, such that the rib presses the nut to be in contact with the nut; and a recess that is disposed on an extension line in which the rib extends, the recess being recessed in the press-fitting direction.
Replaceable socket device
A replaceable socket device includes one or more adapters, and an adapting interface. The adapter includes a jack and multiple contacts. The jacks are disposed on a top of the adapter for transmitting power or a network signal to an external device. The contacts are disposed on a bottom of the adapter. The adapter couples to external power via the contacts. The base includes a cable interface and one or more sockets. The cable interface connects to external power via a power cable and the one or more sockets is utilized to fix the one or more adapters. The adapting interface is utilized to connect the socket and the one or more adapters. The structure of the adapting interface corresponds to the contacts, for allowing the one or more adapters to couple to the one or more sockets via the adapting interface.
MODULAR LOW PROFILE RACEWAY TO PROVIDE POWER AND/OR DATA CONNECTIVITY
In various implementations, a raceway may be provided that is capable of providing power and/or data connectivity to items (e.g., devices, articles of furniture, etc.) coupled to the raceway. The raceway may be low profile. The raceway may be disposed on floor and/or under floor. The raceway may include an integrated power housing. The raceway may include segments that are selected, as desired for an application configuration, and that are coupleable to each other or other components of the raceway (e.g., nodes, joints, etc.). The housing of component(s) of the raceway may include a base and wall(s) with at least curved section and at least one straight section.
Battery wiring module
Provided is a battery wiring module that can hold busbars until they are connected to a secondary battery. A busbar is configured to connect battery terminals of a plurality of battery cells to each other, and has a recess portion that is recessed in a Z direction, which is a stack direction in which a housing is stacked on the battery cells. The battery wiring module includes a busbar holding portion configured to be inserted into the recess portions, and engage with and hold the busbar in the stack direction in which the housing is stacked on the battery cells.
