Wiring system architecture
A new wiring and power and communications system for an automobile that includes a plurality of devices, wherein the devices are connected to a backbone section that has an outer sheathing, a first conductor disposed within the outer sheathing, a second conductor disposed within the outer sheathing, a pair of inner sheathing members disposed within the outer sheathing and located on opposing sides of the at least one conductor, the inner sheathing members configured to electrically insulate the first conductor from the second conductor, and a shield member disposed within the outer sheathing.
PAD EXTENDING MEMBER
A pad extender for coupling a connector coupled to a conductor cable to a lug terminal member of a transformer. The pad extender includes a planar body having a first portion and a second portion. The first portion has a first axis. The pad extender further includes an elongated slot defined in the first portion of the planar body extending parallel to the first axis. The first portion is couplable to the lug terminal member via a first fastener extending through the slot. The planar body is slidable relative to the lug terminal member along a length of the elongated slot. The pad extender further includes a plurality of apertures defined in the second portion. The connector is couplable to the second portion via a second fastener extending through one of the apertures of the second portion.
VERTICAL SUPPORT FOR SHELVING SYSTEM AND SHELVING SYSTEM
A vertical support provides for the rapid assembly, disassembly, and modification of a shelving system in a variety of configurations, as determined by the practical and aesthetic requirements of the user. The vertical support facilitates the mounting of a variety of attachment members, such as shelves, hangers, or media boards, that contain powered appliances, allowing the user to further customize the shelving system to his practical and aesthetic requirements. The vertical support makes it easy for a user to mount these attachment members and hides the connections of the various components, to maximize the aesthetic appeal of the shelving display. Additionally, vertical support can be configured with other subcomponents to form shelving systems.
ELECTRICAL INTERCONNECT ARRANGEMENTS
An electrical interconnect arrangement for coupling a contactor with a bus bar includes a post, a bus bar connected electrically to the post, and a joint coupling the bus bar to the post. The joint has two or more interfaces defined between the post and the bus bar to reduce resistive heat generation within the electrical interconnect arrangement.
Busbar connector assembly
A busbar connector assembly that includes a housing having two portions facing one another that each have an attachment section and a guide section. A first receiving area of the housing receives a first busbar. A second receiving area of the housing receives a second busbar. First and second contact members are coupled to the housing portions. The first and second contact members each have a fixed end and a flexible end having a busbar contact surface. The housing has first and second open ends leading into the receiving areas. The first open end has a continuous width. The second open end includes lead-in surfaces formed in the housing guide sections. The lead-in surfaces define a largest width of the second open end converging to a smallest width thereof. The smallest width of the second open end is substantially the same as the width of the first open end.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR HAVING A PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD FOR USE WITH AN ACTIVE GRID BUS BAR SYSTEM
A connector for use in coupling a load device to electrical conductors of a direct current bus bar. The connector has a housing and the housing carrying a printed circuit board that is electrically coupled to the bus bar and the load device. The printed circuit board functions to control the providing of direct current power from the bus bar to the load device, provide a dimming signal to the load device, and/or selectively provide direct current from a source of emergency power to the load device.
Electrical apparatus having a top-hat rail mount and a conductor connection
An electrical apparatus includes a top-hat rail mount and a first conductor connection with a clamping point. A conductor can be secured via the clamping point. The electrical apparatus can be connected to a top-hat rail via a rotational movement about a rotational axis at the top-hat rail mount. In an embodiment, the first conductor connection be embodied and arranged in such a way that in the state in which the apparatus is connected to the top-hat rail via its top-hat rail mount, the longitudinal axis of a straight conductor which is accommodated in the first conductor connection is located essentially perpendicularly with respect to a straight line which is oriented orthogonally with respect to the rotational axis and which intersects the rotational axis and the clamping point.
WIRING MODULE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING WIRING MODULE
A wiring module is for attachment to a power storage element group in which multiple power storage elements are arranged in a line. The wiring module includes an insulating protector having an electrical wire holding portion that holds electrical wires that detect the state of the power storage elements, and a bending member that is provided at a position connected to the electrical wire holding portion, and has a hinge that is bent in a direction that intersects the electrical wire holding portion. The electrical wires are fixed to the bending member. The bending member has a locked portion that is locked to the insulating protector in a state of being bent by the hinge.
Current bar module and corresponding connection module
A conductor rail module for distributing and a corresponding connection module for tapping a direct current distributed along a mounting rail is described. The connection module comprises a housing whose electrically insulating rear section is connected or connectable to the mounting rail in a form-fit manner. A front section of the housing has a plurality of electrically insulating transverse struts extending transversely to a longitudinal direction of the conductor rail module. Furthermore, the conductor rail module comprises at least two conductor rails extending in the longitudinal direction in the housing between the rear section and the front section, which conductor rails are configured to contact the connection modules for distributing the direct current through a gap between the transverse struts when the connection modules are in a position mounted on the conductor rail module.
Home automation controller and system for optically safely linking AC voltage lines with low voltage DC lines
At least two cascaded chains of intelligent support boxes linked by optical cable provide the needed elements to link the electric AC power line and low voltage DC power lines to the many known outlets and switches (wiring devices) and their loads be it AC or DC operated, with the AC and DC lines are separately drawn through separated conduits and ducts safely and accurately controlled by an home controller and/or via a command converter and a distributor.
