DISCHARGING DEVICE FOR DISCHARGING ELECTRICAL INTERFERENCE
The invention relates to a discharging device for discharging electrical interference, in particular currents, from a rotor part of a machine, said rotor part in particular being a shaft, into a stator part (17) of the machine, the discharging device having a contact device (11) comprising a contact element (13) which is accommodated in an axially displaceable manner in a guide and which is acted on by a contact force device (15) for generating a shaft contact force (F.sub.W) in order to establish electrical contact between a shaft contact surface (19) of the contact element (13) and a rotor contact surface (20) of the shaft (18), wherein the guide has a stator contact surface (25) for forming an electrical connection with the stator part (17) and the discharging device has a guide contact force device (21) for generating a guide contact force (F.sub.F) between a guide contact surface (24) of the contact element (13) and the stator contact surface (25) electrically connected to the stator part (17).
BRUSH HOLDER ASSEMBLIES AND METHODS FOR MOUNTING AND REPLACING BRUSHES
An assembly has a handle, a brush holder, and a support that connect and disconnect to each other using a locking mechanism. The handle reversibly connects and disconnects from the brush holder. The locking mechanism includes a connecting member on the brush holder that attaches to the handle by interaction of a locking flange on the connecting member with a pair of teeth inside of the handle. Insertion of the support within the brush holder extends a post on the support through the connecting member to interact with the handle and enable disconnection of the handle from the brush holder when the support is fully engaged by the brush holder. The locking mechanism prevents the handle from releasing from the brush holder before the brush holder is completely seated on the support.
CURRENT COLLECTOR AND CONDUCTOR LINE SYSTEM
A current collector and a conductor line system having such a current collector. The current collector has a holder and a carbon brush arranged in carbon brush support movable relative to holder in a feed direction from and to the conductor line. The carbon brush is movable in a feed direction from and to conductor line. The disclosure solves the task of achieving better and reliable guiding of the carbon brush on the conductor line and simpler design of the current collector, using a current collector in which the carbon brush is additionally movable in a transverse direction running essentially across the longitudinal direction, a spring element being provided between the carbon brush and holder.

Example brush holder assemblies of an electric machine are disclosed. An example brush holder assembly of an electric machine includes a carbon brush including an upper surface and a lower surface opposite the upper surface. The brush holder assembly also includes one or more lead wires extending out of the carbon brush at an insertion point on the upper surface and a first cavity extending into the carbon brush from the upper surface at a location spaced away from the insertion point of the one or more lead wires and unobstructed by the one or more lead wires.

BRUSH ASSEMBLY HAVING MULTI-PIECE BRUSH HOLDERS FOR AN ELECTRIC MOTOR
An electric motor is provided including: a stator, an armature rotatably received within the stator and having an armature shaft on which a commutator is mounted, and a brush assembly. The brush assembly defines a first side facing the stator and a second side. The brush assembly includes a brush card mount having openings, brushes in sliding contact with the commutator, and thermally-conductive brush holders that support the brushes. Each brush holder includes a base piece disposed between the first side of the brush assembly and the stator, and a main piece including a brush-holder portion and two side flat portions. The brush-holder portion is axially received through a brush card mount opening from the first side of the brush assembly and protrude over the second side to house a brush. The two side flat portions are axially sandwiched between the base piece and the brush card mount.
Diaphragm pump and motor system and method
A brush ring assembly including a brush ring, a brush holder coupled to the brush ring, and a brush spring. The brush spring includes a coiled spring body, a first end portion and a second end portion. The first end portion and the second end portion are disposed on opposing ends of the spring body. The first end portion, the second end portion, and the coiled spring body are coupled to the brush holder. The first end portion is bent across at least a portion of the coiled spring body in a direction toward the second end portion.

Excitation device
Disclosed is an excitation device which includes a brush holder base. The brush holder base is provided with a plug. The plug is provided with a brush holder shaft. The front end of the brush holder shaft is provided with a brush box. A horizontal taper dovetail groove is formed in the brush holder base. A horizontal taper dovetail lug boss is disposed on the plug. The dovetail groove is matched with the dovetail lug boss. The present invention solves the problem of potential safety hazard in locking, and ensures safe and smooth operation of a unit.
