20230191581 · 2023-06-22 ·

Embodiments of the invention provide a hydraulic tool including a hydraulic actuator cylinder, a piston, a fluid reservoir, a pump, a regeneration check valve, and a pilot-operated valve. The regeneration check valve is disposed in a regenerative extension fluid path that fluidly couples a first and second chamber of the hydraulic actuator cylinder. The pilot-operated valve is disposed in a power extension fluid path that fluidly couples the second chamber to a fluid reservoir.

PORTABLE HAND HELD POWER TOOL WITH INTERCHANGABLE HEAD

Portable, hand held, battery operated, hydraulic tools are provided with a tool frame and one or more interchangeable working heads. When the working head is connected with the tool frame, a piston actuated by a hydraulic system within the tool frame applies force to the working head to perform a task. A coupling mechanism holds the working head to the tool frame. The coupling mechanism allows the working head to be removed from the tool frame and another working head to be joined to the tool frame. The coupling mechanism can hold the working head at a fixed rotational angle with respect to the tool frame. The coupling mechanism can also allow the working head to rotate with respect to the tool frame.

IN-LINE HYDRAULIC CRIMP TOOL

A crimp tool having jaw members joined in a tongue-in-groove connection held in place by a locking pin. Each jaw member being tapered and including weight reducing pockets defined in respective sidewalls. Each jaw member includes a locking tab on an outside edge that mates with a respective locking tab opening in the neck of the tool. When the locking pin is removed, the jaws of the tool separate and rotate away from one another until their respective locking tabs engage their respective locking tab opening, thereby holding the opened jaws in the neck of the tool.

PORTABLE DIELESS HAND HELD POWER TOOLS

Portable, hand held, battery operated, dieless, hydraulic crimping tools are provided with a working head and a tool frame. The working head has a head frame with an open access to a working area of the working head. The open access may be in the form of a C-shape. The working head has a nest to receive a crimping member. An indentor is attached to a piston within the tool frame. The piston moves the indentor between a home position adjacent the tool frame and an indenting position where the indentor impacts the crimping member.

An electric tool (1) includes piston (36) reciprocably housed in cylinder (34) provided in main body portion (10) and be pushed by a pressure of fluid; tool head (14) coupled to a distal end of the main body portion and performing a predetermined operation by being pushed by the piston; return channel (40) communicating from the cylinder to a fluid tank to allow the fluid to flow therethrough; pressure regulating valve (44) disposed in operational flow channel (42) branching from the return channel and taking an open position when the pressure of the fluid in the return channel becomes equal to or higher than a predetermined value; operating pin (46) disposed in the operational flow channel and pushed by the pressure of the fluid flowing therein; and return valve (48) disposed in the return channel and taking an open position by being pushed by the operating pin.

Pinned head swage tool

A swage tool includes a first die coupled to a portion of a head and a second die coupled to a portion of a die block. A die block holder holds the die block and the second die. A piston inside a cylinder moves the second die toward the first die. At least two pins couple the head to the die block holder. When one of the pins is coupled to the head and to the die block holder, the head rotates about an axis transverse to a longitudinal axis of the cylinder.

Portable hand held power tool with interchangeable head

CABLE CRIMP HEAD

The present disclosure relates to a crimper body and a crimper. The crimper body is applied to the crimper for crimping cables. The crimper body includes a body, which includes a fixed mold holder provided at one end of an upper portion of the body, and a protector. The protector is mounted to the body to reinforce and fix the fixed mold holder to rest of the body over the entire length of the fixed mold holder. The present disclosure further relates to the crimper including the crimper body. The crimper can effectively prevent fragments of the crimper body from dispersing when broken, and has the advantages of compact structure, light weight, and low cost.

Deflection compensating press tools

Press tools and particularly crimp tools having a C-frame tool head are described which are configured such that upon a typical use load, the C-frame head deflects to a position in which mating components or surfaces are aligned. Also described are C-frame heads that utilize a particular deflection compensating engagement connection between a piston and a ram die holder. In addition, various methods of compensating for deflection are described. The use of such configurations, engagement connections, and methods enables such tools to be formed from lighter weight materials and/or to incorporate weight optimization designs.

Hydraulic power tool

A working head for a hydraulic power tool including a head frame and a first moveable die head configured to move along the working head frame. The first moveable die head configured to receive a first moveable die comprising a first body length. A second die head is adapted to receive a second die comprising a second body length. The first body length of the moveable die is different from the second body length of the stationary die.
