PRESSING TOOL
A motorized manually operated pressing tool, in particular a crimping tool, with a fixed holding part, in which at least one pressing jaw is pivotably mounted about a pivot axis. The pressing jaw forms a working area and an impingement region extending in the longitudinal direction of the pressing jaw. In order to carry out a pressing operation the impingement region can be acted upon with an impinging part that is movable relative to the impingement region. The impinging part is movable in the longitudinal direction of the impingement region by exertion of manual force and by a motor.
TOOL HEADS AND TOOL SYSTEMS
Tool heads for use with a powered actuator are described. The tool heads are configured for pressing or crimping fittings and particularly electrical connectors. Generally, the tool head includes a frame, a roller carriage, and a pair of pivotally attached jaws that are biased to an open position. The tool head may in certain versions, include provisions that enable the tool head to be releasably engaged with a powered actuator such as a hydraulic actuator. Also described are tool systems using the various tool heads.
PORTABLE WORK EQUIPMENT FOR TRAVELING USE
Portable work equipment (30) comprises a portable tool (1) and a portable electronic device (32) with global positioning means (34), in which the portable tool transmits to the electronic device (32) in real time and in wireless manner identification data of the portable tool (1) and data representative of a set of parameters of a work cycle, in which the electronic device (32) generates traceability data-sets by associating to each set of parameters of the work cycle a unique identification code for the portable tool (1), the global positioning coordinates of the portable electronic device (32) and the time of receipt of the set of parameters of the work cycle, and transmits these traceability data-sets to a central database (36) which is remotely accessible provided that the distance between the portable tool (1) and the electronic device (32) is less than a predetermined maximum allowed distance.

Dieless Crimping Tool
A crimping tool with a housing, a motor, a switch connected to the motor for activating the motor, a pump driven by the motor, a piston driven by the pump, an indenter operably connected to the piston, and a tool head connected to the housing, wherein a workpiece can be disposed between the tool head and the indenter. A current sensor is connected to the motor for sensing current flowing through the motor. A processor receives current data from the current sensor, the processor analyzing the current data to determine completion of a crimping operation and/or an error condition. A display connected to the processor can indicate completion of a crimping operation and/or an error condition.
Crimping Tool Locator, Crimping Tool Head, Crimping Tool and Method for Manufacturing a Crimping Tool Locator
The invention relates to a crimping tool locator (1). The crimping tool locator comprises a component (3), in particular a base body (4), which is preferably manufactured from a transparent plastic material. Accommodations (5) of the base body (4) for a workpiece (6) are each equipped with a lining (41) which can e.g. be manufactured from a transparent plastic material or metal. Despite of the use of a material which in some cases comprises a reduced wear resistance or hardness by use of the lining (41) it is possible to provide a large lifetime of the crimping tool locator (1) and the accommodations (5). By use of a transparent plastic material for the base body (4) it is possible that the user of the crimping tool is able to inspect the accommodation (5) from the outside and to analyse if a workpiece (6) arranged in the accommodation (5) is in the correct position. Preferably, a lightening device (9) is integrated into the crimping tool locator (1). The lightening device (9) illuminates the accommodation (5) through the transparent material.
Hydraulic Power Tool
A working head for a hydraulic power tool. The working head includes a head frame and a first moveable die head configured to move along the working head frame. The first moveable die head is configured to receive a first moveable die comprising a first body length and a second die head is adapted to receive a second die comprising a second body length. At least one of the moveable die or the stationary die comprises an elongated die.

WORK HEAD FOR A COMPRESSION TOOL
A work head for or of a compression tool includes a compression jaw and an abutment jaw forming an arched abutment surface having a longitudinal extension arched in a hypothetical arc plane orthogonal to an insertion direction of the object into the abutment seat. The longitudinal extension has a first side segment, a second side segment opposite to the first side segment, and an apex segment in the shape of a neck extending between the first side segment and the second side segment, and an abutment width measurable in the insertion direction and orthogonal to the arc plane. The abutment width decreases from a first base width of the first side segment to an apex width of the apex segment. The abutment width decreases from a second base width of the second side segment to the apex width of the apex segment.
Tool drive assembly with integrated lead drive shaft
A drive assembly for portable, hand-held, battery powered tools is provided. The tool may be configured as a crimping tool, a cutting tool or other type of tool. The tool has an in-line handle assembly and a working head assembly. The drive assembly includes a drive assembly housing, a gear assembly, a lead drive shaft and a bearing system. The gear assembly is a multi-stage gear assembly having an input tier and an output tier. The input tier is operatively connected to a motor and the output tier is connected to a lead drive shaft. The lead drive shaft has a proximal end extending into a distal end portion of the drive assembly housing. The bearing system is positioned within the drive assembly housing adjacent the output tier of the gear assembly. The bearing system is interactive with the lead drive shaft enabling the drive assembly to withstand radial and axial loads as the lead drive shaft is rotated during an operation of the tool.
