Hydraulic Power Tool
A working head for a hydraulic power tool. The working head includes a head frame and a first moveable die head configured to move along the working head frame. The first moveable die head is configured to receive a first moveable die comprising a first body length and a second die head is adapted to receive a second die comprising a second body length. At least one of the moveable die or the stationary die comprises an elongated die.
Electrical connector and die set with a connector guide
Die sets for crimping busses to electrical connectors are provided. The die set includes a pair of dies where one die has a guide member for aligning the dies with the electrical connector, and the other die has a one or more indentors for impacting the electrical connector. The electrical connectors include a guide hole that receives the guide member.
Dieless crimping tool
A crimping tool with a housing, a motor, a switch connected to the motor for activating the motor, a pump driven by the motor, a piston driven by the pump, an indenter operably connected to the piston, and a tool head connected to the housing, wherein a workpiece can be disposed between the tool head and the indenter. A current sensor is connected to the motor for sensing current flowing through the motor. A processor receives current data from the current sensor, the processor analyzing the current data to determine completion of a crimping operation and/or an error condition. A display connected to the processor can indicate completion of a crimping operation and/or an error condition.
TOOL DRIVE ASSEMBLY WITH INTEGRATED LEAD DRIVE SHAFT
A drive assembly for portable, hand-held, battery powered tools is provided. The tool may be configured as a crimping tool, a cutting tool or other type of tool. The tool has an in-line handle assembly and a working head assembly. The drive assembly includes a drive assembly housing, a gear assembly, a lead drive shaft and a bearing system. The gear assembly is a multi-stage gear assembly having an input tier and an output tier. The input tier is operatively connected to a motor and the output tier is connected to a lead drive shaft. The lead drive shaft has a proximal end extending into a distal end portion of the drive assembly housing. The bearing system is positioned within the drive assembly housing adjacent the output tier of the gear assembly. The bearing system is interactive with the lead drive shaft enabling the drive assembly to withstand radial and axial loads as the lead drive shaft is rotated during an operation of the tool.
COMPRESSION OR CUTTING TOOL AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A COMPRESSION OR CUTTING TOOL
A working head (1) for a compression or cutting tool (100) comprises a connecting portion (3) for a removable connection of the working head (1) with an actuation part (2) of the tool (100), two jaws (4) movable between an open position and a closed position to perform the compression or cutting, and a local storage (6) configured for storing one or more cumulative data representative of a stress history of the jaws (4), wherein the local storage (6) is fixed to the working head (1).
Multifunctional hand held tool
A crimping tool for crimping a contact sleeve onto an electrical conductor of a cable has at least a cable transport device, a cutting and stripping device, a crimping device and a printing device, which are disposed one following the other in this order in a direction on a cable feed-through of the crimping tool with an axis. The crimping tool is designed such that a cable end of the cable, which cable end is inserted via a cable inlet opening of the cable feed-through, is fed by the cable transport device in the direction to the cutting and stripping device, to the crimping device and to the printing device and subsequently is led out of the crimping tool via a cable outlet opening of the cable feed-through, which cable outlet opening is opposite the cable inlet opening.
DIELESS CRIMP HEAD WITH POSITIONING DEVICES FOR CRIMP CONNECTORS
A dieless crimp head is provided that includes a frame, an indentor, and a first positioning device. The frame has a first frame shell and a second frame shell, which define a frame opening. The indentor converges on a crimp center within the frame opening. The first positioning device has a connector slot defining a connector receipt area. The first positioning device is removably secured in the frame opening of the first frame shell at a use position in which the connector receipt area and the crimp center are aligned with, but offset along, a longitudinal axis of the crimp head.
4-way indent tool
A 4-way indent tool includes a indenter actuator cam arm being movable between an unactuated position and an actuated position to actuate four indenters to crimp a terminal. The 4-way indent tool includes a drive assembly movable along the drive screw between a retracted position and an advanced position. The drive assembly has a drive nut on a drive screw and a coupler operably coupled between the drive nut and the indenter actuator cam arm. The coupler moves the indenter actuator cam arm. The coupler has a spring loaded coupling between the drive nut and the indenter actuator cam arm compressed as the coupler is moved between the retracted position and the advanced position.
Battery powered portable crimp tool with C-head
The present disclosure provides a mini or micro hand-held, portable, battery-powered 2-3 ton crimp tool capable of crimping conductors ranging between #22 AWG and #2 AWG to a termination. The crimp tool has a C-shaped head portion that uses linear motion to perform the crimp operation.
