Monitoring system of cable laying state
11482844 · 2022-10-25 ·

The present invention discloses a monitoring system of a cable laying state, comprising: a rotary connector, a composite steel cable and a monitoring system. Both ends of the rotary connector are respectively connected with a laid cable and the composite steel cable, wherein the rotary connector is provided with a tension sensor, a video sensor and an inertial navigation measurement module; and tensile force, video, and inertial navigation information are transmitted to the monitoring system through the composite steel cable. The monitoring system of the cable laying state disclosed by the present invention combines a video technology, a measurement technology and an inertial navigation technology and can monitor an environment in a pipeline, a cable core stress state and a three-dimensional coordinate of an actual path during a cable laying process in real time.

Reel and tip for fish tape

Described herein is a fish tape reel comprising a housing with two side shells coupled together. The housing defines an internal cavity. An internal portion of the housing defines a plurality of flat gripping portions and a plurality of finger notches. The housing comprises a plurality of tabs in the internal cavity, the tabs interfacing against an inner annular portion that is coupled to the handle when the handle rotates around the housing.

HAND ASSIST PUSHING TOOL FOR CABLES

A pushing tool for propelling cable into a duct. The pushing tool includes a drive wheel that is coupled with a base and a rotatable handle. A first cable guide and a second cable guide are configured to hold the cable. A duct guide is configured to hold the duct. Furthermore, a tension wheel is configured to interact with the drive wheel such that an orifice is formed between the tension wheel and the drive wheel, the orifice being configured to receive the cable. Upon rotation of the rotatable handle, the drive wheel interacts with the tension wheel to propel the cable into the duct.

An annular seal member comprising a seal body comprising a locating portion locatable against a wall element of an offshore structure, an inner surface, an outer surface and a lip portion that defines an open mouth of the seal member for receiving an elongate element therethrough; wherein the seal body is locatable against the wall element such that when a static pressure acting on the outer surface of the seal body exceeds a static pressure acting on the inner surface of the seal body a net positive pressure is exerted on the outer surface which at least partly deforms inwardly to provide a portion of the seal body for sealing against an outer surface of the elongate element. An offshore structure.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING WIRE BEHIND EXISTING WALLS
20230144566 · 2023-05-11 · ·

A system for pulling wire behind a wall is provided. One embodiment comprises a cylindrical weight defined by an outside diameter and a first length, and a tubular body with a hollow cavity defined by an inside diameter that is greater than the outside diameter of the cylindrical weight and a second length that is greater than the first length. A distal end of the tubular body includes a tip configured to penetrate a material that is behind the wall, wherein when oriented in a vertical position behind the wall, and wherein in response to drawing the cylindrical weight upward through the tubular body and then releasing the cylindrical weight, the cylindrical weight travels downward towards the distal end of the tubular body and impacts the tip such that momentum of the downward travelling cylindrical weight is transferred to the tip, thereby driving the tubular body downward through the material.

Wire puller

A wire puller may be provided. The wire puller may comprise a middle portion, a restraint frame, and a front portion. The middle portion may comprise a gear box, a front bracket, a back bracket, and a capstan. The gear box may comprise a drive shaft and the capstan may comprise a hook pin. The restraint frame may be attached to the back bracket. The front portion may be attached to the front bracket. The front portion may comprise a pivot frame, a tube, an arm, a first side plate, a second side plate, a roller, and a flip out support. The pivot frame may comprise a locking mechanism.

STUB-UP PROVIDING COMBINATION WIREWAY AND ELECTRICAL BOX
