PROTECTOR FOR WIRE HARNESS
The present disclosure provides a protector for a wire harness that can suppress attachment of water to a surrounding electrical component. In a longitudinal direction X along the horizontal direction of the protector main body portion 11 in a state in which a protector is mounted in a vehicle, there is a first region A1 where an electrical component E is located below a protector main body portion 11, and a second region A2 where there is no electrical component E below the protector main body portion 11. A groove 21 that is open vertically upward is provided in an outer surface of the protector main body portion 11. The groove 21 extends over the first region A1 and the second region A2, and is inclined vertically downward while extending toward the second region A2.
WIRING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING CHANGED WIRING SYSTEM
An object is to facilitate arrangement of a plurality of wiring members in a vehicle, while enabling partial exchange and removal of the plurality of wiring members to be easily handled. Provided is a wiring system including a control unit, a plurality of devices that are connected to the control unit, a plurality of wiring members that forms at least a portion of a wiring path that connects the control unit and the plurality of devices, and a plurality of protection portions, wherein the plurality of protection portions protect the plurality of wiring members by grouping the wiring members into a plurality of groups, and the plurality of protection portions are linked in a separable manner.
Cable retainer insert and connector for shielding transfer
A cable retainer insert for a multi-strand cable includes a cable contact portion and a plurality of cable receptacles in the cable contact portion circumferentially spaced from each other. Each of the cable receptacles receives a strand of the multi-strand cable. Each of the cable receptacles has a cable strand insertion opening at a radially outward end and a bottom at an opposite radially inward end. A circle inscribed in each of the cable receptacles and touching the bottom of the cable receptacle extends radially outward beyond the cable strand insertion opening.
Thermostat bracket assembly
A thermostat bracket assembly includes a bracket that has a first portion forming an angle with a second portion. The first portion can be mounted to a wall stud having the second portion oriented planar with a panel of sheetrock mounted to the wall stud. A pair of engagements is each integrated into the bracket and each of the engagements is aligned with an intersection between the wall stud and the panel of sheetrock. A thermostat wire is extended through a respective one of the engagements to inhibit the thermostat wire from being lost in the wall cavity.
WIRE HARNESS
A wire harness including: a wire harness main body that includes an electric wire and an exterior tube that encloses an outer circumferential surface of the electric wire; a path restricting member that is attached to an outer circumferential surface of the exterior tube and restricts a path of the wire harness main body; and a move restricting member that is attached to the outer circumferential surface of the exterior tube and restricts the path restricting member from moving in a lengthwise direction of the exterior tube relative to the exterior tube,
WIRE HARNESS
A wire harness including: a wire harness main body that includes an electric wire and an exterior tube that encloses an outer circumferential surface of the electric wire; a path restricting member that is attached to an outer circumferential surface of the exterior tube and restricts a path of the wire harness main body; and an attaching member that is attached to an outer circumferential surface of a portion of the path restricting member in a lengthwise direction of the path restricting member.
Conduit connector tool
The subject matter described in this specification relates generally to a tool for installing a flexible metal conduit screw-in connector onto a flexible metal conduit and a method for installing the flexible metal conduit connector tool. The flexible metal conduit screw-in connector tool includes a handle, a centering rod, and two studs. The flexible metal conduit connector tool is to engage a flexible metal conduit screw-in connector.
WIRE HARNESS
A wire harness including: a first wire; a ring-shaped first electromagnetic wave absorber having a first through hole through which the first wire passes; a first restricting member that restricts relative movement of the first electromagnetic wave absorber with respect to the first wire in a length direction of the first wire; a second wire; a ring-shaped second electromagnetic wave absorber having a second through hole through which the second wire passes; and a second restricting member that restricts relative movement of the second electromagnetic wave absorber with respect to the second wire in a length direction of the second wire, wherein the first electromagnetic wave absorber is provided so as to overlap with a portion of the second electromagnetic wave absorber in a plan view from a first central axis direction in which a central axis of the first through hole extends.
WIRE HARNESS
A wire harness including: a wire; a ring-shaped electromagnetic wave absorber including a through hole through which the wire passes; and a fixing member for fixing the electromagnetic wave absorber to the wire, wherein: an inner circumferential surface of the through hole opposes an outer circumferential surface of the wire, in a view of the electromagnetic wave absorber along a central axis of the through hole, the inner circumferential surface of the through hole has a first portion and a second portion arranged at a position point-symmetrical to the first portion with respect to the central axis of the through hole, and the fixing member fixes the electromagnetic wave absorber to the wire such that the wire is in contact with the first portion and is separated from the second portion.
WATERPROOF UNIT AND WIRE HARNESS
A waterproof unit including: a first waterproof tube that has a tubular shape and is to be attached to a through hole of a vehicle body panel disposed between a waterproof area that requires waterproofing and a non-waterproof area that does not require waterproofing; a second waterproof tube that has a tubular shape and is to be disposed in the non-waterproof area so as to be spaced apart from the first waterproof tube; and a first exterior tube that has a tubular shape, is disposed between the first waterproof tube and the second waterproof tube, and is coupled to the first waterproof tube and the second waterproof tube, wherein the first exterior tube has higher flexural rigidity than the first waterproof tube to be kept from coming into contact with the first waterproof tube when the waterproof unit is bent in the non-waterproof area.
