SLEEVE PROTECTOR FOR WIRES
A sleeve protector for wires, includes: a hollow cover which has a slit formed along the center line of the bottom thereof in order to cover a wire with the cover by opening the cover in the opposite directions and then placing the cover on the wire; a pair of hook-shaped jaws which protrude longitudinally from the lower inner circumferential surface of the cover along the opposite sides of the slit, respectively; a fastener which is formed to fasten the cover by being fitted onto the pair of jaws in order to maintain the slit in a closed state after the wire is covered with the cover, and has a tab integrated therewith, the tab being formed along the center line of the fastener and exposed out of the cover through the slit; and a pair of guards which are integrated with the cover and.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ELECTRICAL CABLE, AND RESULTING PRODUCT, WITH REDUCED REQUIRED INSTALLATION PULLING FORCE
Disclosed are cable types, including a type THHN cable, the cable types having a reduced surface coefficient of friction, and the method of manufacture thereof, in which the central conductor core and insulating layer are surrounded by a material containing nylon or thermosetting resin. A silicone based pulling lubricant for said cable, or alternatively, erucamide or stearyl erucamide for small cable gauge wire, is incorporated, by alternate methods, with the resin material from which the outer sheath is extruded, and is effective to reduce the required pulling force between the formed cable and a conduit during installation.
WIRE HARNESS
A wire harness for routing in a vehicle in which an exhaust pipe through which exhaust gas flows is attached under a floor, the wire harness including: a first wire to be routed alongside the exhaust pipe; and a second wire to be routed on an opposite side of the first wire to the exhaust pipe, wherein the first wire has: a conductor and an insulation coating covering an outer periphery of the conductor; and a metal tube housing the conductor and the insulation coating.
WIRE HARNESS
A wire harness including: a wire; a tubular first outer cover accommodating the wire; a positioning member that is made of a synthetic resin and is attached to an end of the first outer cover; and a ring-shaped electromagnetic wave absorber that has a through hole through which the wire passes and is fixed to the positioning member, wherein the positioning member has a main body including an insertion portion inserted into the through hole, and a fitting portion that protrudes from an end of the main body and is fitted on the end of the first outer cover.
WIRE HARNESS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING WIRE HARNESS
A wire harness including: an electric wire; a shield pipe through which the electric wire extends and at least a portion of which is defined as a bend that is curved; and a plurality of spacers disposed inside the shield pipe, wherein: the plurality of spacers are spaced apart from each other in a lengthwise direction of the shield pipe, and respectively have through holes therein, the electric wire extends through the through holes, and an outer peripheral surface of the electric wire is closely attached to inner periphery surfaces of the through holes.
Methods for releasably connecting an overhead electrical wire
A strain release connector for an overhead electrical wire includes a first connector part securable to the overhead electrical wire with a fixed clamping force, and a second connector part cooperable with the first connector part and securable to a service cable with an adjustable clamping force, less than the fixed clamping force. The second connector part has at least one strain adjustment screw for modifying the adjustable clamping force. The adjustable clamping force is set by the at least one strain adjustment screw such that the second connector part is configured to release the service cable upon an application of a predetermined tension force.
WIRING MEMBER
A wiring member is an undercarriage wiring member that connects a vehicle body-side device and a wheel-side device to each other, the wiring member including: a first electric wire group; a second electric wire group that extends along the first electric wire group at least in a certain section; and a plurality of holding members each including a first holding portion and a second holding portion, wherein each of the plurality of holding members holds the first electric wire group in the first holding portion, and the second electric wire group in the second holding portion, and the plurality of holding members are provided at intervals along a path of a parallel section in which the first electric wire group and the second electric wire group are parallel with each other.
WIRING MEMBER AND RETAINING MEMBER
A wiring member including: three or more electrical wire portions extending in different directions from a branching position; and a retaining member that is an elastic member and covers base end portions of the three or more electrical wire portions. The retaining member includes three or more cylindrical portions that are joined to each other at respective base end portions thereof, one or two adjacent cylindrical portions of the three or more cylindrical portions being a base cylindrical portion provided with a slit extending over the entire length thereof on one side, and the remaining cylindrical portion being a divided cylindrical portion provided with slits extending over the entire length thereof on two sides, and the retaining member is closed via a fixing member.
PROTECTOR AND WIRE HARNESS
One aspect of the present disclosure provides a protector configured to suppress interference of an electric wire lead out from the protector with another component. A protector according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes an accommodating portion for accommodating an electric wire, and an intermediate lead-out portion for leading the electric wire accommodated in the accommodating portion to outside of the accommodating portion. The intermediate lead-out portion includes a wire fixing portion for fixing the electric wire, and a regulating wall portion for regulating a route of the electric wire at a different position from that of the wire fixing portion.
Holder for a protective conductor and cable tray with such holder for a protective conductor and protective conductor set
An earth wire holder for a cable tray having two spaced-apart side bars, wherein the earth wire holder is in the form of a spring clamp having a side bar receptacle enclosed by two mounting arms for connecting the spring clamp to the upper edge of a side bar and having an undercut earth wire receptacle enclosed by two holding arms, wherein, when the spring clamp is mounted on the upper edge of the side bar, the mounting arms bear against the side bar under prestress, and the spacing between the holding arms in the section thereof enclosing the earth wire receptacle is smaller than the diameter of the earth wire to be introduced therein.
