MAGNETIC DECORATIVE TRIM WITH DC POWER TRANSMISSION

A decorative interior trim piece is provided for use in a low voltage power transmission system, and includes an outer, decorative surface, an opposite inner surface facing a substrate, a first end surface and an opposite second end surface. At least one conductive element extends from the first end surface to said second end surface on the inner surface. Each conductive element has a connector surface at each of the first end and second ends. At least one magnetic fastener is secured to the inner surface for releasably attaching the trim piece to the substrate. A complementary low voltage power transmission system is also disclosed.

CABLE CONDUIT

A cable conduit can be unrolled from a reel and cut to length and includes longitudinal sections of a mounting portion and a covering portion that form an openable and closable channel therebetween, the mounting portion and covering portion being coupled together by a connector. In some examples, a support leg is provided to prop up the covering portion when the channel is mounted and in an open configuration.

Wall mounted rail system
10535985 · 2020-01-14 ·

A wall mounted rail system for providing additional air flow and electrical outlets to a room. The system includes a first rail removably securable to a second rail, wherein each rail includes a front surface and a rear surface. The rear surface can secure to a wall and a decorative molding, such as chair rail molding, is secured to the front surface. A plurality of ports are disposed on a bottom face of the front surface and can supply power to a device connected to each port. Further, each port is electrically connected to one another. Tubing extends through an interior volume of each rail and plurality of apertures are disposed on a top face of the front surface thereof. Each aperture is in fluid communication with the tubing to allow air to flow from the tubing, through the apertures, and into the room.

Methods and Arrangements for Securing Cable to a Roof

A system for securing one or more heating cables to a roof and having one or more apparatuses, each apparatus including a metal base panel and a continuous metal C-shaped channel integrally-formed with the base panel. The channel includes a pair of opposing continuous channel walls creating and surrounding a continuous cavity having a cross-sectional cavity shape substantially identical for at least a majority thereof to the cross-sectional shape of the cable. The channel walls are resiliently flexible to enable receipt of a continuous length of the heating cable within the cavity such that the heating cable is in snug continuous contact with the channel to enhance heat conductance from the heating cable to the base panel.

Easily installed versatile electrical access system using magnetic electrical connectors

A support is configured to be attached to and supported by a surface and to a channel running from the first end to the opposing second end of the support. The support carries a first magnetic electrical connector in a first end of the channel and a second magnetic electrical connector, wired to the first, in the opposing, second end of the channel. The first magnetic electrical connector is in electrical connection with the second magnetic electrical connector via at least one electrical conductor. An electrical current applied to the first magnetic electrical connector is conveyed by that electrical conductor to the second magnetic electrical connector. Wiring is directed through holed in the support to access points in the outer surface of the support where the user may access electrical current for operating appliances, charging batteries, and passing digital information. The supports may be decorative molding such as baseboards, crown molding, and chair rails.
