Devices and methods for holding cables
The present disclosure describes devices and assemblies for holding cables. A device adapted for holding one or more discrete cables may include a flexible main body formed of a polymeric material having a length, a width, a thickness, and a longitudinal axis, the main body including a wrapping portion and a mounting portion, wherein the wrapping portion is configured to be wrapped such that the main body circumscribes the one or more discrete cables; a securing feature attached to or integral with the mounting portion of the main body and configured to be secured to a mounting structure; and a plurality of apertures along the longitudinal axis of the wrapping portion of the main body, wherein the securing feature is configured to be received through one of the plurality of apertures when the main body is wrapped around the one or more discrete cables. Methods of holding cables are also provided.
SOLAR CABLE RETENTION CLIPS AND SYSTEMS
A cable retention clip can include at least one body defining at least two of cable retention channels that are arranged to have parallel channel axes. Each cable retention channel has an inlet opening extending a length of the respective cable retention channel so that a lateral cross-section of each cable retention channel forms a C-shape. Each cable retention channel can be separated from an adjacent cable retention channel by a cable separator. The body also defines at least a pair of the cable retention channels forming a ω shape. The cable retention channels can include two cable retention channels having the same size. A cable arrangement can include the cable retention clip and at least two solar cables. A solar installation can include the cable arrangement and at least one solar panel operably coupled with at least one of the solar cables.
SOLAR CABLE RETENTION CLIPS WITH RESILIENT HOOKS FOR STRUCTURE MOUNTING
A cable retention clip can include at least one clip body region defining at least two cable retention channels that are arranged to have parallel channel axes. Each cable retention channel has an inlet opening extending a length of the respective cable retention channel so that each cable retention channel forms a C-shape. Each cable retention channel can be separated from an adjacent cable retention channel by a cable separator member. The cable retention clip can also include at least two elongate resilient pillars that are spaced apart with a gap therebetween. The elongate resilient pillars extend from the clip body region that has the cable retention channels. Each elongate pillar includes a hook at an end that is opposite of the clip body region. Each hook can be oriented away from the other hook, such that both hooks point away from each other.
Cooling apparatus comprising a connecting element for supporting tubes or wires or the like
A cooling apparatus having a compartment for storing products to be cooled and one or more tubes and/or wires connected to the compartment. A connecting element secures the tubes/wires to a compartment wall. The connecting element has a base portion configured to connect to the compartment wall and a supporting portion for supporting the tubes/wires. The supporting portion has first and second arms protruding from the base portion and defining a seat configured to receive the tubes/wires. The supporting portion has at least one elastic traverse member protruding from the first arm and/or the second arm towards the receiving seat. The elastic traverse member is configured to contact the tubes/wires that are inserted into the seat and secure the tubes/wires into the seat.
Rodent resistant ground level ice bridge
An ice bridge system for a cellular transmissions site assembled with a ladder frame section to support cabling laid on top of the and a ladder support with a preformed base for resting on a ground surface, a preformed set of mounting points for securing one or more sections of the ladder frame, such that the ladder frames mate end to end with each other and a structural support section between the base and mounting points to support the weight of the ladder frame and supported cables.
Cable retainer insert and connector for shielding transfer
A cable retainer insert for a multi-strand cable includes a cable contact portion and a plurality of cable receptacles in the cable contact portion circumferentially spaced from each other. Each of the cable receptacles receives a strand of the multi-strand cable. Each of the cable receptacles has a cable strand insertion opening at a radially outward end and a bottom at an opposite radially inward end. A circle inscribed in each of the cable receptacles and touching the bottom of the cable receptacle extends radially outward beyond the cable strand insertion opening.
Thermostat bracket assembly
A thermostat bracket assembly includes a bracket that has a first portion forming an angle with a second portion. The first portion can be mounted to a wall stud having the second portion oriented planar with a panel of sheetrock mounted to the wall stud. A pair of engagements is each integrated into the bracket and each of the engagements is aligned with an intersection between the wall stud and the panel of sheetrock. A thermostat wire is extended through a respective one of the engagements to inhibit the thermostat wire from being lost in the wall cavity.
Method of installing spiral hangers about a messenger line while removing lashing wire
There is provided a method of installing spiral hangers about a messenger line installed between first and second utility poles with a cable being lashed to the messenger line with a lashing wire. The method includes attaching a first and second spiral hangers to the messenger line between first and second utility poles with the first spiral hanger disposed about the messenger line and the cable. The method includes removing the lashing wire from being around the messenger line and the cable adjacent the second spiral hanger. The method includes moving the second spiral hanger towards the second utility pole. The method includes attaching a successive spiral hanger to the messenger line between the spiral hangers, and repeating the moving of the second spiral hanger and attaching another successive spiral hanger.
Tensioning device for a wired energy and/or data transmission path
A tensioning device for a wired energy or data transmission path includes a winding drum, a cable guide wire stored on the winding drum, and a spring accumulator. The winding drum is rotatable by an electrical drive for winding and unwinding the cable guide wire. The spring accumulator is operably exerting a resilient tensile force on a wire portion unreeled from the winding drum.
Support collar for cables, pipes or the like
A support collar for cables, tubes, or the like includes retaining arms, each of which includes a third segment extending from the free end of a second arched segment, in a direction opposite to a first V-shaped segment. Each third segment is shaped as an angled or arched winglet directed toward a corresponding side portion and/or at least one flap, so as to facilitate entry of the cable, tube or the like to slot between the arm segments.
