QUICK LOCK SYSTEM FOR JOINING AND ALIGNING TUBES, CONDUITS AND JUNCTION BOXES
20170331264 · 2017-11-16 ·

A connecting system for quickly securing a hollow tube to a structure or to another hollow tube using a connector that has a housing with a tapered interior edge that operably engages a locking element positioned therein. When the tube is inserted into the locking element, the locking element holds and locks the tube in place in the connector. A guide ring may be provided within the connector to facilitate proper alignment of the tube within the connector and provide excellent electrical conductivity throughout the entire tube connecting system. One or more bearings may be provided as part of the locking element to facilitate initial tube insertion and then compression locking of the tube by the locking element. The connector can include a variety of structure engaging portions to allow the connector to be operably secured to a variety of structures such as electrical junction boxes, electrical conduits, tubes, armored cables, metal clad cables, flexible metal cables and the like.

Electric device comprising a feedthrough of a cable through a housing wall

An electric device includes a housing and a cable. The housing has a pipe bracket disposed on the housing. The pipe bracket includes an interior pathway extending from a free-end of the pipe bracket into the housing. The free-end of the pipe bracket has teeth thereon. The cable has a union nut and a sleeve. The sleeve has a crimped section attached to the cable such that the crimped section is non-displaceable. The sleeve further has a toothed annular surface. In an installed state of the cable to the housing, a feedthrough portion of the cable extends through the interior pathway of the pipe bracket and into the housing. The union nut encompasses the sleeve and is attached to the pipe bracket to thereby press the toothed annular surface of the sleeve against the teeth of the pipe bracket such that the cable is fixed rotationally to the housing.

Seal assembly/adaptor for an interface port

A seal assembly/adaptor for sealing a weather protection boot to an irregular shaped interface port such as a port having externally facing threads. The seal assembly/adaptor includes a seal subassembly comprising a compliant ring having plurality of arcuate segments defining an opening for accepting the interface port. Further, the seal assembly/adaptor includes at least one retainer operative to retain the seal subassembly such that, upon assembly, an axial force imparted by a connector coupling device effects radial deformation of at least one of the flexible segments into the irregular surface of the interface port to effect a seal between the irregular surface and the retainer.

Piping conduit adaptor device

Embodiments of an integrated piping conduit in accordance with aspects of the present invention include a push-to-connect fitting integrated with an adaptor device and associated methods that facilitate the re-use of push fittings without damage to the fitting elements or the pipe, while also facilitating connection to boxes such as electrical boxes in a manner that meets requirements and saves time for professionals dealing with the otherwise challenging management of multiple wires, cables and/or connections. Embodiments can incorporate an integrated release pusher and locking mechanism that allows for quick locking and unlocking of piping elements within a fitting. Embodiments can also include an adaptor having integrated head and body portions, and an ear member extending at least partially radially outwardly and at least partially axially outwardly from the outer surface of the body portion.

ARRANGEMENT STRUCTURE OF WIRING MEMBER

An arrangement structure of a wiring member includes: a first member; a second member connected to the first member to be rotatable around a rotational axis; and a plurality of electrical wires having a part disposed at least between the first member and the second member, wherein the plurality of electrical wires are disposed in parallel to each other in a direction in which the rotational axis extends in the part of the plurality of electrical wires disposed between the first member and the second member.

CABLE SCREW CONNECTION

The invention relates to a cable screw connection having a cable leadthrough housing which is formed in two parts from a first housing component (10) and a second housing component (11), which components are arranged, during assembly, at a wall aperture on opposite sides of the wall aperture and are releasably connected to one another in order to clamp between them a wall portion surrounding the wall aperture; a cable passage which is formed through the cable leadthrough housing when the first and second housing components (10, 11) are connected to one another; and a cable seal which is formed on the cable leadthrough housing with a sealing body (19) which is formed around the cable passage and accommodates a cable received therein in a sealing manner; wherein the cable leadthrough housing and the sealing body (19) are made of different synthetic materials and the sealing body (19) is formed.

Additively Manufactured Cable Gland

A union body for a cable gland includes a body having a generally cylindrical shape defining an interior surface and a passage extending though the body from a first end to a second end of the body. A groove is formed on the interior surface of the body. The groove is configured to mate with an exterior surface of a cable received in the passage of the body.
