Open Heat Shrink Device
20210159686 · 2021-05-27 ·

The open heat shrink device provides an innovative design for a tubing device, that can provide convenient means to protect an object without any cutting process. In other words, the open heat shrink tubing device provides stable and non-bulky means of attachment, such that the tubing device may be wrapped around an existing object to provide a protective covering over it, without the need to cut the object. Accordingly, the tubing device includes a wrapping member with an opening or slit that enables the wrapping member to be easily wrapped around the object that needs to be protected and/or heat shrink wrapped. Further, a plurality of fastening members enables to have a secure hold of the wrapping member around the object. Furthermore, the tubing device may include additional layers, and or textures for the wrapping member, thereby enabling an efficient and foolproof protective covering around different objects in different scenarios.

Flame-resistant heat shrink assemblies for trace heating cables

An end cap for a heat shrink kit having a heat shrink tubing, wherein the end cap includes a tubing portion sized to be inserted into the heat shrink tubing and an end portion configured to prevent at least a portion of a flame from reaching the heat shrink tubing.

Elastic sleeve for a power conductor

Elastic sleeve (1) for electrically insulating a HV/MV power conductor in a power network, comprising a) a shrinkable or expandable elastic sleeve body (10); b) a receiving space (20) in the sleeve body, for receiving the power conductor; c) a cavity (30) formed in the sleeve body; and d) a divider assembly (40), arranged, at least partially, in the cavity and comprising a plurality of discrete impedance elements, operable as a voltage divider for sensing a voltage of an inner conductor of the power conductor.

Wire harness

A wire harness, including: a first conductor including a first connection; a second conductor including a second connection that is connected to the first connection; an adhered member that is disposed on an outer circumference of a connection part between the first connection and the second connection; and an interposed member that is interposed between the connection part and the adhered member, the adhered member being adhered on an outer circumferential surface of the interposed member, wherein the interposed member has rigidity to maintain a certain shape.

Method and device for sealing contact points at electrical line connections

The invention relates to a method for sealing a contact point region comprising at least one contact point at an electrical line connection, wherein the line connection comprises at least one electrical line and at least one conductive element electrically connected thereto. The method starts by arranging a shrink tube on the outer circumference of the contact point region, in a first region extending over the contact point region on both sides in the longitudinal direction. This is followed by heating the shrink tube to shrinking temperature. During the heating of the shrink tube, an inductive heating of the electrical conductor is additionally performed, at least in the contact point region, and so hotmelt adhesive arranged inside the shrink tube and/or on the outer circumference of the contact point region is heated to its melting temperature. The invention also relates to a device for sealing a contact point region and to a sealing at such a region.

A system and method for installing a section of heat shrink tubing on a wire is disclosed. The system includes an infeed guide that receives the continuous length of tubing and initially opens the tubing from a compressed condition. The continuous length of tubing is received in a cutting guide and cut to a desired length. After cutting, a pair of spaced support jaws move together to open the cut section of tubing. A funnel having a first opening and a second opening is moved into engagement with the section of tubing such that the second opening is received within the section of tubing. A wire is inserted into the funnel which guides the wire into the cut section of tubing. Once the wire is received within the cut section of tubing, the funnel and support jaws are removed and the wire is removed with the section of support tubing installed thereon.

SPLICED SHIELDED WIRE CABLE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SAME

A wire harness assembly including a first, second, and third shielded wire cable, each having a core conductor surrounded by a shield conductor which is surrounded by a insulative jacket. Portions of the core conductors are sonically welded to one another. The assembly also includes a flexible insulative layer wrapped about the sonically welded core portions, a flexible conductive layer wrapped about the flexible insulative layer and exposed shield portions, and a section of heat shrink tubing in which the flexible conductive layer and portions of the insulative jackets are enclosed. The assembly further including an insulative housing having a longitudinal cavity extending therethrough in which the section of heat shrink tubing, the flexible conductive layer, and portions of the insulative jackets are disposed.
