It is aimed to provide a wiring harness, in which a part where a wire conductor is exposed from an insulation coating is covered by a waterproof portion and which can maintain the adhesiveness of the waterproof portion to the insulation coating containing a plasticizer even if being placed in a high-temperature and high-humidity environment. A wiring harness is provided with a wire including a conductor, an insulation coating covering an outer periphery of the conductor and a conductor exposed portion, in which the conductor is exposed from the insulation coating, and a waterproof portion for integrally covering surfaces of the conductor exposed portion and the insulation coating. The insulation coating contains a plasticizer. The waterproof portion is constituted as a cured body of a resin composition containing a urethane (meth)acrylate oligomer and a nitrogen-containing monomer, which is a radical polymerizable monomer containing a nitrogen atom.

A wire harness that comprises a connecting portion in which a first conductor exposed at a terminal portion of the first wire by stripping an insulating coating therefrom is connected to a second conductor exposed at a terminal portion of a second wire by stripping an insulating coating therefrom, the second wire having a higher flexibility than the first wire. The wire harness also comprises two layers of shrinkable tubes fitted around the outer circumference of the connecting portion. According to this structure, even if one of the shrinkable tubes is torn, the other shrinkable tube can provide protection to the connecting portion, thus improving the durability of the connecting portion.

Multi-cavity, shrinkable sleeve and method of construction thereof

The invention relates to a method for sealing a contact point region comprising at least one contact point at an electrical line connection, wherein the line connection comprises at least one electrical line and at least one conductive element electrically connected thereto. The method starts by arranging a shrink tube on the outer circumference of the contact point region, in a first region extending over the contact point region on both sides in the longitudinal direction. This is followed by heating the shrink tube to shrinking temperature. During the heating of the shrink tube, an inductive heating of the electrical conductor is additionally performed, at least in the contact point region, and so hotmelt adhesive arranged inside the shrink tube and/or on the outer circumference of the contact point region is heated to its melting temperature. The invention also relates to a device for sealing a contact point region and to a sealing at such a region.
