A flat-type effect module includes a first flat motor and an effect wheel assembly. The first flat motor has a first stator to generate a magnetic field when energized, and a first rotor arranged outside the first stator in a sleeving mode. The effect wheel assembly is fixed to the first rotor, and the effect wheel assembly includes a wheel body for generating a light effect which is provided with effect areas for intercepting a light beam to change the color and/or shape thereof. According to the present invention, no rotating shaft, such as the traditional rotating shaft motor has, exists on the first flat motor, the effect wheel assembly in the present invention is directly fixed to the first rotor, so that the height of the rotating shaft can be reduced and more effect elements can be arranged.

A lubricant is disposed in the support chamber for supporting the rotor around the stator. A wheel rim is fixedly attached to the rotor and is disposed in surrounding relationship with the rotor and the stator. Thus, in a first aspect, rotation of the rotor is directly transferred to the wheel rim such that the wheel rim rotates in accordance with the rotation of the rotor. In accordance with another aspect, the rotor is rotatably disposed within the stator, and a planetary gear reduction mechanism is operably interconnected to the rotor, the stator, and the wheel rim and configured to rotate the wheel rim in response to rotation of the rotor within the stator.
Pulley assisted electromagnetic water pump
An electrically and mechanically driven automotive accessory including a housing, an electric motor, a pulley, and a pulley assist mechanism. The electric motor comprises a stator assembly that is mounted to the housing and a rotor assembly that is mounted to a shaft. The electric motor creates a primary torque flow path that drives rotation of the rotor assembly relative to the stator assembly. The pulley is rotatable relative to the shaft and the rotor assembly. The pulley assist mechanism includes a plurality of claw-pole structures that are arranged circumferentially about the rotor assembly and an electromagnet that is configured to induce a magnetic field between the claw-pole structures and the pulley, which creates a secondary torque flow path between the pulley and the rotor assembly.
ELECTRIC MOTOR WITH BACKUP BEARING ASSEMBLY
An electric motor adapted to apply torque to a drive shaft rotatable about an axis, the electric motor includes a stator, a rotor adapted to rotate relative to the stator, a primary bearing interoperably coupled to the stator and adapted to provide bearing support between the stator and the rotor, an auxiliary bearing interoperably coupled to the drive shaft, an annular shear adapter connected to the primary bearing and the auxiliary bearing, and a shear pin interoperably coupled to the primary bearing via the annular shear adapter and configured to break responsive to torque between the annular shear adapter and the drive shaft exceeding a predetermined torque threshold.
ROTARY ELECTRIC MACHINE AND AIRCRAFT USING ROTARY ELECTRIC MACHINE
This rotary electric machine includes two movable parts which are placed with a stator core interposed therebetween and rotate about an identical rotary shaft. At least part of the stator core is formed by stacking thin sheets in a rotation direction of the two movable parts. The stator core has, at both ends, stator core retention portions extended in a direction parallel to surfaces thereof opposed to the two movable parts and perpendicular to the rotation direction of the movable parts. Retention surfaces of the stator core retention portions at both ends are respectively fixed by retention members. The retention surfaces of the stator core retention portions at both ends are formed to face toward each other.
External rotor motor with cast stator
An electric machine may be an external rotor motor with a stator and a rotor surrounding the stator. The rotor may be mounted on bearings so as to be rotatable around an axis of rotation relative to the stator, where the mechanical forces transmitted by the bearings of the rotor may be absorbed at least in part by the stator. The stator may have a coil winding for generating a magnetic field, the coil winding being surrounded at least partially by a casting compound. At the output, the mechanical forces of the rotor or the device transmitted by the bearings and taken up by the stator may be introduced into the stator largely via the casting compound. The casting compound thus reduces induced vibrations.
LUBRICANT SUPPORTED ELECTRIC MOTOR
A lubricant supported electric motor includes a static member and a movable member movably disposed within the static member to define a gap therebetween. The static member may be configured as a stator and the movable member may be configured as a rotor. The movable member may also be configured to move relative to the static member. The static member and movable member are configured to exert an electromagnetic force therebetween and convert electrical energy into mechanical energy and move the movable member. A lubricant is disposed in the gap between the static member and the movable member to support the movable member relative to the static member.
Robot joint and robot having ihe same
A robot joint includes a casing, a motor assembly including a stator and a rotor that are arranged within the casing, and a harmonic drive received, at least in part, in the rotor. The harmonic drive includes a circular spline, a wave generator fixed to the rotor, and a flex spline. The circular spline is arranged around and engaged with the flex spline. The wave generator is received in the flex spline and configured to drive the flex spline to rotate with respect to the circular spline. The robot joint further includes an output shaft fixed to the flex spline.
Lubricant supported external rotor architectures
A lubricant supported electric motor includes a stator and a rotor and a drive hub. The rotor is moveable relative to the stator and a gap is defined between the rotor and the stator. A lubricant is disposed within the gap to support the rotor relative to the stator and provide a bearing mechanism. The drive hub is coupled to the rotor such that rotation of the rotor causes rotation of the drive hub. The drive hub may be connected to the rotor via a coupler member that is torsionally stiff and axially and radially compliant. The stator may be fixed relative to a connection structure that extends radially within the stator. The connection member may support the drive hub for rotation. Lubricant is supplied via a passageway extending through the connection member into a chamber that includes the gap.
