Aspects of this disclosure relate to a multiplexer that includes at least a first filter having a first passband and a second filter having a second passband. The first filter includes acoustic wave resonators coupled to a common node by a series inductor. The acoustic wave resonators start with a shunt acoustic resonator from the common node. The series inductor and the shunt acoustic resonator of the first filter are together arranged to increase a reflection coefficient of the first filter in the second passband.

ACOUSTIC RESONATOR FILTER

An acoustic resonator filter includes: a series unit including at least one series acoustic resonator electrically connected, in series, between first and second ports configured to pass a radio frequency (RF) signal; a first shunt unit disposed on a first shunt connection path between the at least one series acoustic resonator and a ground, the first shunt unit including a plurality of shunt acoustic resonators connected to each other in series and having different resonance frequencies; and a second shunt unit disposed in a second shunt connection path between the at least one series acoustic resonator and the ground, the second shunt unit including at least one shunt acoustic resonator and having higher inductance than inductance of the first shunt unit.

ACOUSTIC-WAVE LADDER FILTER HAVING IMPEDANCE ELEMENT AND DIPLEXER BASED THEREON

An acoustic-wave ladder filter has a first port, a second port and a ground terminal, and includes a series resonator and a shunt circuit. The series resonator is coupled to and disposed between the first and the second ports in series. The shunt circuit is coupled to and disposed between the series resonator and the grounding terminal, and includes a shunt resonator and a functional circuit. The functional circuit is connected in series with the shunt resonator. The functional circuit includes a resistor having a resistance value. The resistance value is greater than 5 Ohms and is smaller than 50 ohms. The functional circuit may further have an inductance.

An acoustic wave filter includes a first ladder circuit including a first series arm resonator and a first parallel arm resonator, a second ladder circuit including a second series arm resonator and a second parallel arm resonator, and a third ladder circuit including a third series arm resonator and a third parallel arm resonator. The first, second and third ladder circuits are cascade-connected in order. A condition of fas1>fas2>fas3>frp1>frp2>frp3 is satisfied, where fas1 represents an anti-resonant frequency of the first series arm resonator, fas2 represents an anti-resonant frequency of the second series arm resonator, fas3 represents an anti-resonant frequency of the third series arm resonator, frp1 represents a resonant frequency of the first parallel arm resonator, frp2 represents a resonant frequency of the second parallel arm resonator, and frp3 represents a resonant frequency of the third parallel arm resonator.

The first base is joined to the main surface via an electrode. The second base is arranged between the module substrate and the first base in a sectional view and is joined to the main surface via an electrode. At least part of the first base is overlapped with at least part of the second base and at least part of the third base in a plan view.

The second filter includes plural second series arm resonators and a second parallel arm resonator. Each of the plural second series arm resonators and the second parallel arm resonator includes a bottom electrode, a top electrode, and a piezoelectric layer. Among the plural second series arm resonators, the top electrodes or the bottom electrodes of two adjacent second series arm resonators are formed by one electrode.
