Relocatable location-based gamified applications
A modular system for creating a location-based gamified application configured to be played by one or more player units on a playground, uses a location-based mobile game application configured to track and supervise the creation of the location-based gamified application. A gaming content module is configured to store a plurality of contents of different media required for creation of the gamified application. A database storing a plurality of customization and relocation tools, is provided wherein the tools are organized in a plurality of hierarchical templates. Tools include a Generic Gaming Core template for creating a basic skeleton of the gamified application, a Setup Design template for incorporating a relocation component into the Generic Gaming Core corresponding to a specific location and environment, and a User Customization template for enhancing the gamified application experience.

SERVER SYSTEM AND SYSTEM
A computer system controls a start of a gathering event that gathers a user character of a participating user at a given gathering place in a virtual space upon acceptance of a gathering request operation from a terminal of a directing user. The computer system controls a display of a map image displaying the gathering place in the virtual space in an identifiable display mode on the terminals of the directing user and the participating user. The computer system determines a success/failure of the gathering event using a position of the user character operated by the participating user. The computer system gives a given reward to the directing user and/or the participating user when the gathering event is determined to be a success in the event success/failure determination.

PROVIDING VIRTUAL ITEMS BASED ON LOCATION-BASED ACTIONS
A method of providing virtual items based on location-based action is disclosed. An indication is received of a performance of a location-based action by a player of a computer-implemented game. A virtual item is provided based on the receiving of the indication of the performance of the location-based action by the player of the computer-implemented game. The virtual item may be usable within the computer-implemented game.

Mediating multiplayer electronic game sessions
An environment includes one or more clients, a game mediator server, and a game server connected by a network. The clients include a game mediator and a game. The game server executes game playing sessions of the games. The game mediator server and the game mediators form a game mediation infrastructure to mediate game playing sessions. For example, the game mediation infrastructure creates “lobbies” for game playing sessions and enables clients connected to lobbies to communicate with one another. The games receive interactions at the client and communicate with the game server to impact execution of game playing sessions. The game mediator server sends deep links to clients, e.g., to initiate game installation, or to start the game at a particular portion of the game. The game mediation infrastructure may also enrich gameplay by customizing gameplay and/or the lobby, e.g. based on events that occur during execution of the game playing session, or locations of the clients.

Player device proximity detection for a location-based game
A client device associated with a player of a location-based game detects client devices associated with other players which are within proximity of the player device. This detection of other player client devices may result in various game actions occurring, such as an exchange of game elements between players, game progress for a player, access to a game feature, or establishing a connection between players. Detection of player devices may be performed using personal area network devices of the client devices, such as Bluetooth. Proximity detection can occur when player client devices are disconnected from an online system hosting the location-based game with the detection later being reported to the online system by one or both devices.
RECORDING MEDIUM HAVING RECORDED THEREON GAME PROGRAM, GAME METHOD, AND TERMINAL APPARATUS
A game based on a game program includes a game configured to progress by moving a location of a terminal apparatus possessed by a user, the game program causing a processor to perform enabling the game to progress by using predetermined moving means to move the terminal apparatus by the user who possesses the terminal apparatus, and announcing information for the user using a display unit in a non specific mode other than during a game progressing by using the predetermined moving means to move the location of the terminal apparatus, and announcing the information for the user using an output unit other than the display unit in a specific mode during the game progressing by using the predetermined moving means to move the location of the terminal apparatus.
