Transmitter and receiver for mirror crosstalk evaluation and methods therefor
The disclosed systems and methods for detecting mirror crosstalk between frequency bands equally above and below the center frequency of a Digital Subcarrier Multiplexing system include: a transmitter configured to insert zero-power symbols on half the frequency bands below center frequency, and insert other zero-power symbols, partially overlapping in time with the first zero-power symbols, on the other half of the frequency bands above center frequency. A receiver zeroes out ASE and other noises during the overlapping portion of all the zero-power symbols, then uses the power detected during the remaining portion of each zero-power symbol in each frequency band to accurately evaluate the mirror crosstalk from the corresponding frequency band on the opposite side of center frequency.
Method for reducing SGLTE coupling de-sense and mobile terminal
Disclosed in the present application are a method for reducing SGLTE coupling de-sense and a mobile terminal, the method including: filtering out an LTE network frequency band in a signal transmitted by a signal transmission end of a GSM; and filtering out a network frequency band in a signal of a signal reception end accessing the GSM other than a GSM network frequency band. Employing the present application may eliminate mutual interference between a GSM signal and an LTE signal due to the GSM network frequency band and the LTE network frequency band getting too close to each other, which greatly alleviates SGLTE mobile terminal coupling de-sense situation.

An electronic device, includes an intelligent reflecting surface and an electronic device controller. The intelligent reflecting surface is configured to reflect all or a part of a received signal. The electronic device controller is configured to control the intelligent reflecting surface to determine a first phase of the intelligent reflecting surface to increase a relay gain of first data of the received signal, determine a second phase related to second data, and control a phase of the intelligent reflecting surface based on a sum of the first phase and the second phase to reflect the first data and the second data to a receiving device by beamforming.
PIM CANCELLATION
An apparatus is disclosed, comprising means for determining a noise floor for a radio frequency (RF) system. The apparatus may also comprise means for determining a Passive InterModulation (PIM) value of a component of the RF system contributing as a source of PIM; determining that a passive intermodulation (PIM) cancellation system should be enabled if the PIM value is above a predetermined threshold from the noise floor. The apparatus may also comprise means for determining that the PIM cancellation system should be disabled if the PIM value is at or below the predetermined threshold.
Reception device, wireless communication system, interference-power estimation method, control circuit, and recording medium
A reception device includes an interference cancellation unit to extract a symbol from a received signal with a first signal inserted in a time direction of a data symbol, the symbol being a signal during an interval corresponding to the first signal, to reproduce an interference signal during an interval corresponding to the data symbol, and to output a first interference-cancelled signal obtained by extracting the data symbol from a signal obtained by cancelling the interference signal from the received signal, and an interference-power estimation unit to estimate desired signal power by subtracting second average power of a symbol of a first signal, extracted from the received signal, from first average power the data symbol to estimate first noise power by subtracting the desired signal power from third average power of the data symbol, to estimate second noise power from the first noise power, and to estimate interference power by subtracting the second noise power from the second average power.
Smart scheduling for intermodulation distortion avoidance on multiple uplink transmissions
The disclosed technology provides a system and method for scheduling downlink transmissions and for granting uplink frequency resources to a user device such that concurrent transmissions and receptions by the user device, or multiple concurrent transmissions and receptions by the user device, does not lead to deleterious intermodulation distortion or at least minimizes the extent of any such resulting intermodulation distortion.
PIM cancellation
An apparatus, method and computer program product is disclosed. The apparatus may comprise means for transmitting and receiving radio frequency signals using a radio system coupled to an external antenna via an additional combiner or diplexer, means for receiving one or more reference signals usable for measurement of passive intermodulation from one or more nodes provided in a signal path external to the radio system, a first one of said nodes being associated with a signal path between the additional combiner or diplexer and the external antenna, and means for performing passive intermodulation cancellation based on the received one or more reference signals, including a first reference signal from the first node.
Method for processing of passive intermodulation products
An apparatus includes an estimation circuitry configured to receive a first set of one or more digital signals of transmitters of a communication system, and capture a set of one or more radio frequency signals that have been generated from the first set of digital signals The set of radio frequency signals being input of an antenna system of the communication system. Based on the first set of digital signals and the corresponding set of radio frequency signals, a set of weights related to a distortion effect caused by the generation of the radio frequency signals is derived. A received second set of digital signals is weighted using the set of weights, resulting in filtered signals. Using the filtered signals, a correction signal indicative of an interference caused by transmission of the second set of digital signals at a receiver of the communication system is estimated.
HIGH LINEARITY MODES IN WIRELESS RECEIVERS
Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to techniques and apparatus for operating a wireless receiver of the apparatus in a high linearity mode. An example method includes operating the apparatus in a first mode with transmission of a plurality of transmit signals. The method also includes attenuating a received signal via an attenuator while operating the apparatus in the first mode. The method further includes amplifying the attenuated signal with an amplifier while operating the apparatus in the first mode. For certain aspects, the method further involves operating the apparatus in a second mode, bypassing the attenuator while operating the apparatus in the second mode, and amplifying the received signal with the amplifier while operating the apparatus in the second mode.
