Two-way communication system and method of use
The two-way communication system comprises a non-invasive and non-implanted system which remains completely invisible to an outside observer when in use by an operator or user and allows for clear two-way communications. This system is generally comprised of a mouthpiece component, relay component, infrastructure communication device, and an optional system control which may interface with the relay component.
Docking station with wireless charging
A docking station comprises a computing unit and a charging system connected via a data connection. The charging system has a first charging coil in a housing such that a battery of a mobile device can be charged by a second charging coil while at the same time data can be transferred between the mobile device and the computing unit and to at least one peripheral device, whereby an increased protection against eavesdropping results without the use of additional devices. This is achieved in that the first and second charging coils are designed and connected such that the charging coils are actuated by the computing unit and by a mobile device electronic system such that data to be transferred is transmitted between the mobile device and the docking station via alternating fields, which are generated and received in the first and second charging coils, in the near-field region in an interference-free and eavesdropping-secured manner.
NEAR FIELD SCATTERING ANTENNA CASING FOR ARBITRARY RADIATION PATTERN SYSTHESIS
Systems and methods are disclosed for creating antenna casings, such as radomes, that can reshape the distribution of electromagnetic energy emitted by an antenna into an arbitrarily defined pattern. Embodiments of the present disclosure include antenna casings with cylindrical patterns with only azimuthal variation and antenna casings with spherical patterns having both azimuthal and elevation variations, each accomplished with an antenna casing of a fixed radial distance in the given coordinate system (either cylindrical or spherical). Antenna casings provided by embodiments of the present disclosure can alter the source radiation pattern into any desired radiation pattern at any distance.
Power supply apparatus and electronic device, and control method thereof, and wireless power transmission system
According to the present invention, the communication mode can be prevented from changing when re-authentication is performed. To achieve this, a power supply apparatus that wirelessly supplies power to an electronic device, comprises a communicating unit that contactlessly transmits power and transmits/receives information, a holding unit that holds, when authentication is first performed with an electronic device via the communicating unit, information indicating a communication mode when communication is established with the electronic device, and a controlling unit that controls the communicating unit so as to perform communication in a communication mode based on the information held in the holding unit, when a second authentication is performed with the electronic device via the communicating unit.
NFC ANTENNA
A near-field communication antenna includes a conductive plane; and four slots in the conductive plane.
Method and Apparatus for Active Device Recognition and Elimination of Cross-Talk Between Multiple Magnetic Resonance Chargers
A method and apparatus for preventing cross-talk in systems employing one-to-many magnetic resonance power transfer are disclosed. A method may include powering down a magnetic resonance coil, receiving an identifier from a power receive unit located at a predetermined charging location using close-range wireless communication, powering up the coil, receiving information from the power receive unit using short-range wireless communication addressed with the identifier, transferring energy from the power transfer unit to the power receive unit using the coil, and displaying an indication of the status of the battery to a display communicatively coupled to the power transfer unit. The predetermined location may be among a plurality of locations for a plurality of power receive units in proximity to the power transfer unit and the information received from the power receive unit may be indicative of a status of a battery electrically coupled to the power receive unit.
RFID tag
An RFID tag to be used, for example, for tagging livestock. The RFID tag has a high resistance to mechanical and thermal stress due to a physical separation of a main antenna and an integrated circuit forming an RFID circuit. The RFID tag may comprise an inlay with the main antenna and a chip module with the integrated circuit and a loop antenna inductively coupled to the main antenna. The inlay and the chip module are safely embedded in a tag housing. The compact chip module with electrical connections between the loop antenna and the integrated circuit can be reliably protected.
Wireless power transfer pad with multiple windings and magnetic pathway between windings
A wireless power transfer (WPT) pad apparatus includes a ferrite structure and four windings adjacent to the ferrite structure. A horizontal surface of the ferrite structure is adjacent to each of the four windings and each of the four windings are wound in a horizontal pattern that is planar to the horizontal surface. The four windings are arranged in a two-by-two square pattern in a north-south-north-south polarity arrangement.
High efficiency wireless charger system
In some embodiments, a wireless power charging circuit includes a wireless power receiver configured to receive wireless power from a receive coil and to produce a first voltage; an open loop capacitor divider coupled to receive the first voltage from the wireless power receiver and configured to provide a second voltage, the second voltage being reduced from the first voltage; and a linear battery charger coupled to receive the second voltage from the open loop capacitor and configured to provide a charging voltage to provide to a battery coupled to the system.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING COIL
A portable communication device is provided, which includes a housing including a rear cover; a battery disposed in the housing; NFC circuitry; wireless charging circuitry; MST circuitry; an FPCB including a plurality of layers substantially parallel to each other, at least a portion of the FPCB being disposed between the battery and the rear cover; an NFC coil electrically connected with the NFC circuitry, the NFC coil including a first portion and a second portion formed at different layers of the FPCB; a wireless charging coil electrically connected with the wireless charging circuitry, the wireless charging coil including a third portion and a fourth portion formed at different layers of the FPCB; and an MST coil electrically connected with the MST circuitry, the MST coil including a fifth portion and a sixth portion at different layers of the FPCB.
