Wireless game management system
A wireless game management system includes a plurality of game pieces, each game piece including a wireless module configured to transmit a location signal, and a wireless game management processor configured to determine the absolute or relative positions of at least two game pieces based on the location signals, determine a game status based on the absolute or relative positions of the at least two game pieces, and convey game status information through a user interface associated with the wireless game management processor.
MIXED-REALITY DEVICE POSITIONING BASED ON SHARED LOCATION
Techniques and systems are provided for positioning mixed-reality devices within mixed-reality environments. The devices, which are configured to perform inside out tracking, transition between position tracking states in mixed-reality environments and utilize positional information from other inside out tracking devices that share the mixed-reality environments to identify/update positioning of the devices when they become disoriented within the environments and without requiring an extensive or full scan and comparison/matching of feature points that are detectable by the devices with mapped feature points of the maps associated with the mixed-reality environments. Such techniques can conserve processing and power consumption that would be required when performing a full or extensive scan and comparison of matching feature points. Such techniques can also enhance the accuracy and speed of positioning mixed-reality devices.
3D AVATAR GENERATION AND ROBOTIC LIMBS USING BIOMECHANICAL ANALYSIS
Systems and methods are disclosed for generating a 3D avatar or instructions for movement of robotic limbs using a biomechanical analysis of observed actions with a focus on representing actions through computer-generated 3D avatars or instructions for movement of robotic limbs. Physical quantities of biomechanical actions can be measured from the observations, and the system can analyze these values, compare them to target or optimal values, and use the observations and known biomechanical capabilities to generate 3D avatars or instructions for movement of robotic limbs.
APPLYING AUGMENTED REALITY-BASED GAMIFICATION TO HAZARD AVOIDANCE
A computer-implemented method for utilizing augmented reality (AR) and gamification to help a user traverse an area that includes hazards. The method includes one or more computer processors receiving at an AR device utilized by a user, visual information corresponding to an area. The method further includes identifying one or more hazards within the area. The method further includes determining a path through the area that the user may traverse to avoid the one or more identified hazards. The method further includes generating a plurality of elements of AR content, where at least a first element of AR content indicates the path for the user to traverse. The method further includes displaying, via the AR device, the received visual information corresponding to the area to include the plurality of elements of AR content.
Information processing method and apparatus in virtual reality game, and processor
An information processing method and apparatus in a Virtual Reality (VR) game, and a processor are provided. The method includes that: a first move operation of a VR controller in a real environment is acquired; a move of a virtual object in a VR game scene is controlled according to the first move operation, and a calculation factor is calculated according to the first move operation; and when the move of the virtual object in the VR game scene satisfies a preset attack damage trigger condition, damage to an attack target in the VR game scene is calculated according to the calculation factor. The present disclosure solves technical problems in the related art that an operation mode of swinging a weapon to launch an attack in a VR game scene is easy to cause fatigue of a game player and a calculation mode of damage lacks accuracy.
Information processing device and information processing method
An information processing device, an information processing method, and a program are provided. The information processing device includes a virtual object control unit that generates a control parameter that controls display of a first virtual object corresponding to a first real object and a second virtual object corresponding to a second real object on the basis of first posture information indicating a posture of the first real object and second posture information indicating a posture of the second real object, and a determination unit that makes a determination related to contact between the first virtual object and the second virtual object. The virtual object control unit generates the control parameter on the further basis of a result of the determination.
Systems and methods for creating and sharing virtual and augmented experiences
Techniques for creating compelling extended reality (XR) environments, including virtual reality (VR) and mixed reality (MR), and other computer-generated experiences, are provided. In some embodiments, a VR and MR system, including a computer hardware- and software-based control system, controls a specialized headset, hand controls, and a distributed array of sensors and actuators to produce a VR or MR environment with compelling VR and MR display and social interaction features. In some embodiments, the VR and MR system creates and provides escalating levels of data access, permissions and experiences for users, based on different, multi-phased ratings. In some embodiments, a first rating sets a level of access to gameplay leading to a second rating. In some such embodiments, one user's VR or MR experience related to another user is modified aesthetically, haptically or otherwise, depending on the levels granted by another user, and other attributes.
Systems and methods for augmented reality
An augmented reality viewer includes components, assemblies, and executable logic to provide a user with the perception of rich augmented reality experiences, including aspects of the aquatic world.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
Natural appearance of transition from a predetermined object of two-dimensional content displayed on a two-dimensional display to a three-dimensional display model of an AR display device or vice versa is achieved. Control is performed such that, the transition is performed after switching the two-dimensional content from the motion parallax non-application display to the motion parallax application display. For example, control is performed such that the motion parallax application display is displayed on the two-dimensional display in a case where there is one AR display device, and the motion parallax application display is displayed on the AR display device in a case where there is a plurality of AR display devices.
Method and apparatus for controlling movement of virtual object in augmented reality, and terminal
A method and apparatus for controlling a movement of a virtual object in AR, and a terminal are provided. The method includes: a virtual moving area is generated within a current image capture range of a control device; a virtual object is generated in the virtual moving area; and a position of a virtual identifier in the virtual moving area is adjusted according to a real movement of the control device, and the virtual object is guided to virtually move according to the position of the virtual identifier. The present disclosure solves a technical problem in the related art that a joystick-based racing control mode provided in an AR scene is complex and game experience is poor.
