Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed for media crediting and, more particularly, methods and apparatus of media device detection for minimally invasive media meters. An example apparatus disclosed herein to detect media devices presenting media includes means for generating a cluster of media locations from a reference population of media locations based on media identifying information received from a presentation of media at an unidentified media device at a first media location, means for determining media devices available at the media locations in the cluster of media locations, means for identifying the unidentified media device based on (1) the media devices available at the media locations in the cluster of media locations and (2) an identity of a media device determined to be available in a majority of media locations in the cluster of media locations.

Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed for media crediting and, more particularly, methods and apparatus of media device detection for minimally invasive media meters. Systems and methods of gathering and transmitting golf tournament information, including a server configured to receive data from a plurality of portable devices carried by spotters of the golf tournament, the data being entered by the spotters into their respective portable devices in real time during the golf tournament, the data being related to the status of golf balls played by particular players after the balls have been hit by the players, the server being configured to selectively transmit at least some of the collected data to another portable device in a format permitting display according to pre-formatted screens.

Systems and methods of gathering and transmitting golf tournament information, including a server configured to receive data from a plurality of portable devices carried by spotters of the golf tournament, the data being entered by the spotters into their respective portable devices in real time during the golf tournament, the data being related to the status of golf balls played by particular players after the balls have been hit by the players, the server being configured to selectively transmit at least some of the collected data to another portable device in a format permitting display according to pre-formatted screens.

Methods and systems are employed for selectively controlling the presentation of broadcast content item in which a unique set of broadcast content items are presented based on the selection of a content type and a selection of a geography for each content type to control the manner in which broadcast content types are recorded and/or presented for the vehicle. In some embodiments, methods and systems are employed for providing relevant information to a vehicle based on receiving multiple broadcast streams, and separating the broadcast content items into segments based on a variety of content types along a predicted path of the vehicle.

Methods and systems are employed for selectively controlling the presentation of broadcast content item in which a unique set of broadcast content items are presented based on the selection of a content type and a selection of a geography for each content type to control the manner in which broadcast content types are recorded and/or presented for the vehicle. In one aspect, a method includes (i) accessing broadcast-schedule data associated with a channel; (ii) using the accessed broadcast-schedule data to identify an upcoming content-modification opportunity on the channel; (iii) responsive to identifying the upcoming content-modification opportunity on the channel, identifying a content-presentation device tuned to the channel; and (iv) causing supplemental content to be transmitted to the identified content-presentation device, to facilitate the identified content-presentation device performing a content-modification operation related to the identified upcoming content-modification opportunity on the channel.

In one aspect, a method includes (i) accessing broadcast-schedule data associated with a channel; (ii) using the accessed broadcast-schedule data to identify an upcoming content-modification opportunity on the channel; (iii) responsive to identifying the upcoming content-modification opportunity on the channel, identifying a content-presentation device tuned to the channel; and (iv) causing supplemental content to be transmitted to the identified content-presentation device, to facilitate the identified content-presentation device performing a content-modification operation related to the identified upcoming content-modification opportunity on the channel.
