Methods and arrangements for CSI reporting
A method in a wireless device for reporting Channel State Information (CSI). The wireless device is comprised in a wireless communications system. The method includes receiving a CSI process configuration and a request for CSI information from a network node. The method further includes reporting CSI for one or more CSI processes. The CSI reflects the state of the channel for a CSI reference resource. According to the method, the CSI reference resource is determined based on the number of configured CSI processes. Related devices are also disclosed.
Wireless Signal Transmitting Method And Wireless Apparatus
Interference in preamble signals and pilot signals in cooperative transmission using interference suppressing technology is avoided. A wireless apparatus for transmitting a wireless signal on which directivity control has been performed to stations in a wireless system including at least one wireless apparatus is provided with a known signal generating unit which generates a known signal to be added to the wireless signal, a weighting processing unit which performs weighting on the known signal generated by the known signal generating unit, and a wireless processing unit which transmits the known signal on which the weighting has been performed by the weighting processing unit.
Method and apparatus for decoupling uplink and downlink cell selection
A method includes receiving information at a user equipment from a first apparatus, the information indicating to the user equipment is to communicate with a second apparatus.
Method and device for performing interference coordination per slice
Provided are a method for a base station performing interference coordination in a wireless communication system, and a device supporting same. The method may comprise the steps of: receiving slice IDs from a neighboring base station; receiving interference coordination information per slice from the neighboring base station; and performing interference coordination per slice on the basis of the interference coordination information corresponding to the slice IDs.
Information receiving method, information sending method, and device
An information receiving method, an information sending method, and a device are provided. Under these methods, a timing adjustment amount can be determined by a first access network device. The timing adjustment amount is an adjustment amount between a first timing at which the first access network device sends a first downlink signal to a first terminal device on a first frequency band and a second timing at which the first access network device sends a second downlink signal to the first terminal device on a second frequency band. The first frequency band and the second frequency band are paired frequency bands. First indication information can be sent, by the first access network device, to the first terminal device. The first indication information indicates the timing adjustment amount.
Packet data connections in a wireless communication system using a wireless local area network
Connection control circuitry is provided for a User Equipment (UE) configurable to offload communication of packet data from a cellular radio-access network comprising a Trusted Wireless Local Access Network (TWLAN) and a Trusted Wireless Access Gateway (TWAG) with IP Address preservation. The connection control circuitry has a connection requesting module configured to send a distinguishable-connection establishment message to the TWAG, requesting setup of a TWAG-routed data connection comprising at least one of a Packet Data Network (PDN) connection and a Non-Seamless Wireless Offload (NSWO) connection. A unique virtual gateway interface address is used to identify a point-to-point link between the UE and the TWAG. This allows the TWAG to distinguish between multiple substantially simultaneous point-to-point links which support multiple substantially simultaneous packet data connections. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ELECTROMAGNETIC VIRUS INACTIVATION
A system and method to reduce the number of active targeted viruses, bacteria or other microbes or microorganisms within an indoor or outdoor space using an array of radio frequency antennas, lasers or acoustic emitters is presented. The system sweeps through a series of beam patterns. The radio, laser or acoustic frequency and dwell time depend on the targeted viruses and bacteria. By sweeping through a wide range of transmit beamforming vectors, it is possible to kill or render harmless microbes or microorganisms at many locations throughout the coverage area while avoiding exposing humans to harmful levels of radio frequency or laser power. The proposed system and method can be flexibly applied to many array geometries including those with large spacing and non-isotropic antennas or acoustic emitters, as well to a variety of type of lasers.
BASE STATION AND COMMUNICATION METHOD
A wireless communication terminal apparatus wherein CoMP communication can normally be performed without increasing the overhead of an upstream line control channel. In this apparatus, a spreading unit (214) primarily spreads a response signal by use of a ZAC sequence established by a control unit (209). A spreading unit (217) secondarily spreads the response signal, to which CP has been added, by use of a block-wise spread code sequence established by the control unit (209). The control unit (209) controls, in accordance with sequence numbers and a hopping pattern established therein, the circular shift amount of the ZAC sequence to be used for the primary spread in the spreading unit (214) and the block-wise spread code sequence to be used for the secondary spread in the spreading unit (217). The hopping pattern established in the control unit (209) is a hopping pattern common to a plurality of base stations that CoMP-receive the response signal.
Apparatus and method for estimating channel
A method for transmitting a reference signal includes selecting one of a first initialization value and a second initialization value, generating selection instruction information corresponding to the selected initialization value, transmitting the selection instruction information to a mobile station, generating a reference signal based on the selected initialization value, and transmitting the generated reference signal to the mobile station. A method for estimating a channel includes receiving selection instruction information indicating a selection of at least one of a first initialization value and a second initialization value, receiving a first reference signal based on the selection instruction information, generating a second reference signal based on an initialization value indicated as being selected by the selection instruction information, and estimating a channel state by comparing the first reference signal with the second reference signal.
