Flexible implicit modulation and coding scheme indication

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for a base station transmitting a modulation and coding scheme index corresponding to a modulation and coding scheme table to a user equipment (UE). The modulation and coding scheme index may be applied to encoding or decoding a transport block. The modulation and coding scheme may be associated with at least two modulation orders or a differential indication according to a modulation and coding scheme table. To determine which of the modulation orders for processing the transport block, the UE and the base station may use a prior modulation order associated with a prior transmission of the transport block. The UE may process the transport block by encoding or decoding the transport block based at least in part on the determined modulation order.

A device may receive a first telemetry data entry associated with an attribute and store a record associated with the first telemetry data entry, wherein the record identifies a first context value associated with the attribute. The device may log a first timestamp of the first telemetry data entry in a lookup table, wherein the lookup table includes a mapping of the attribute to the first context value and to the first timestamp. The device may receive a second telemetry data entry associated with the attribute and may determine, from the mapping, that the second telemetry data entry is associated with a second context value that is different from the first context value. The device may determine whether a second timestamp, of the second telemetry data entry, is before the first timestamp. The device may perform an action based on whether the second timestamp is before the first timestamp.

TERMINAL, RADIO COMMUNICATION METHOD, AND SYSTEM

A terminal is disclosed including a processor that determines, when retransmission of a side channel in a communication between a plurality of terminals is performed, a modulation order for the retransmission of the side channel by using a MCS table based on side control information; a transmitter that transmits the side channel based on the determined modulation order, and a receiver that receives downlink control information including at least a UL-SCH indicator field, wherein the processor, if retransmission of an uplink shared channel is performed, determines a time density of a phase tracking reference signal (PTRS) based on whether a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) index is larger than a certain value, and wherein the transmitter transmits the PTRS. In other aspects, a radio communication method, and a system are also disclosed.

A method and apparatus are disclosed. In an example from the perspective of a User Equipment (UE), the UE receives, via a Radio Resource Control (RRC) message, a resource configuration of a first configured grant to be used in RRC inactive state. The UE performs a first new transmission using the first configured grant in RRC inactive state. After the performing the first new transmission, the UE receives an uplink grant in RRC inactive state via Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH). The UE determines whether the uplink grant is for performance of a second new transmission or for performance of a first retransmission. The UE performs the second new transmission using the uplink grant in RRC inactive state if the UE determines that the uplink grant is for performance of the second new transmission.

PHYSICAL LAYER AND MAC LAYER UPLINK CHANNEL PRIORITIZATION

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may select a first communication, associated with a first traffic type, or a second communication, associated with a second traffic type, as a selected communication for transmission in an overlapping resource, wherein the first communication and the second communication at least partially overlap in time, and wherein the selection is performed based at least in part on a rule; and transmit the selected communication. Numerous other aspects are provided.
