The base station may transmit a message to a user equipment (UE) indicating the capability limitation(s) associated with the communication state, and communicate with the UE according to the capability limitation(s). The base station may identify that the base station has scheduled communications with a UE in accordance with an SPS configuration or a configured grant. The base station may transmit a message to the UE indicating an update for the SPS configuration or the configured grant based on a capability limitation associated with the communication state.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques may provide for an adaptive digital post-distortion (DPoD) procedure and reporting of modulation and coding scheme (MCS) indices for communications between a user equipment (UE) and a network entity. The UE may select a kernel from a set of kernels indicated by the network entity for a DPoD procedure based on a target error vector magnitude (EVM). Additionally, or alternatively, the UE may determine a limitation for an MCS index for the network entity to use in communications with the UE based on a power limitation of the UE and an EVM associated with the MCS. The network entity and the UE may accordingly communicate using the MCS limitation requested by the UE and the determined DPoD kernel.

Duplication of packets associated with directional ranges

A wireless communication system comprising a user equipment (UE) component configured to receive a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) packet. The UE component is configured to duplicate the V2X packet to form a plurality of duplicated V2X packets at a protocol stack layer of the UE component, wherein each duplicated V2X packet is associated with a directional range.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ELECTRONIC DATA COMMUNICATION

A transmitter is configured to: receive a frame of video data from a data source; group bits corresponding to the frame of video data into a plurality of groups each corresponding to a plurality of levels of importance; reorganize the groups in order of importance to generate a reorganized frame of data with a group corresponding to a plurality of packet headers having a highest level of importance and arranged to be first among the groups; insert a value indicating a length of data bits corresponding to each packet header before each packet header; and transmit the bits corresponding to the frame of video data to the receiver for display on the display panel such that each group from among the plurality of groups is transmitted according to different protection techniques based on their corresponding levels of importance.

NON-VOLATILE MEMORY WITH READ MODES

A non-volatile memory system receives a request to read data. That request includes a quality of service indication. The memory system performs a read process that satisfies the quality of service indication and identifies a set of data with errors. The memory system returns the set of data with errors in response to the request.

Content delivery over wireless links

An access point receives notification of a bit rate setting specifying a throughput needed to transmit corresponding content to a communication device. Based on the bit rate setting, the wireless access point identifies a set of multiple possible modulation-coding options supporting transmission of data at different bit rates greater than the bit rate setting needed to transmit the corresponding content. The wireless access point selects a respective modulation-coding option that provides a throughput bit rate that is lower than a modulation-coding option in the set providing a highest possible throughput bit rate. Selection of the lower bit rate modulation-coding option provides adequate capacity to transmit the corresponding content, yet does so with a higher signal to noise ratio than would be provided by the higher bit rate modulation-coding option. Subsequent to selection, the wireless access point transmits the corresponding content to the communication device via the selected modulation-coding option.

A communication device including various circuitry is provided. The first and second circuitry provide a first communication link to a remote device using a first access technology and a second communication link to the remote device using a second access technology, respectively. The third circuitry detects whether a video call has been handed over from the first communication link to the second communication link, or whether an OOS condition of the first or second communication link that occurred during the video call has ended. The fourth circuitry generates a first intra frame for the remote device or requests that the remote device generate a second intra frame for the communication device, when the video call has been handed over from the first communication link to the second communication link or when the OOS condition occurred during the video call has ended.

Fec Mechanism Based on Media Content

The invention provides an FEC (Forward error correction) mechanism based on media content. The mechanism classifies the media content, and endows it with different importance, and then changes the coding scheme according to the packets belonging to frames of different importance in combination with channel conditions and user experience, to conduct protection according to the importance of corresponding frames. By using the technical scheme of the invention, for the data congestion caused by excessive coding in the current FEC system, the media content is able to be classified and endowed with different importance, and controlled by signaling and indicating bit; different FEC coding strengths is able to be adopted; the duplication-expanding window fountain code with the unequal error protection performance is able to be further adopted, to achieve the maximum guarantee of media content quality and reduce the large amount of data caused by FEC.
