In an embodiment of the disclosure, a method performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system is provided. The method comprises: receiving, from a base station, a radio resource control (RRC) message including information on an identifier to indicate a secondary cell (Scell), information on at least one bandwidth part (BWP) of the Scell, and information including first information on a first BWP to be used as dormant BWP among the at least one BWP and second information on a second BWP to be activated as non-dormant BWP from dormant BWP; receiving, from the base station, downlink control information (DCI) including a bitmap associated with a BWP activation of the Scell; and activating a BWP identified based on the identifier, the bitmap, and at least one of the first information or the second information. According to the disclosure, via a method by which a new dormant (or hibernation) mode may be operated in units of bandwidth parts (bandwidth part-level), a carrier aggregation technology can be rapidly activated, and a battery of a terminal can be saved.

Uplink control channel configuration for a secondary cell in a wireless network

A wireless device receives message(s) comprising parameters of cells grouped into: a primary control channel group comprising a primary cell with a primary control channel, and a secondary control channel group comprising a control channel secondary cell with a secondary control channel. Parameters comprise RRC dedicated parameters. A secondary cell other than the control channel secondary cell is mapped to the secondary control channel group if a first control channel parameter is present in the RRC dedicated parameters of the secondary cell when the secondary cell is added to the cells. Otherwise the secondary cell is mapped to the primary control channel group. A secondary cell is considered to be the control channel secondary cell if second control channel parameters are present in the RRC dedicated parameters. First channel state information is transmitted via the secondary control channel. Second channel state information is transmitted via the primary control channel.

Dynamically detecting and correcting the deactivation of beamforming

Methods and systems are provided for dynamically detecting and correcting the deactivation of beamforming from an antenna. One or more users are identified as present within a particular geographic area typically served by beamforming, and the average signal strength of the one or more user devices is monitored. If a threshold level of degradation of the average signal strength is detected, then a beamforming status is determined for one or more of the antennas serving the user device or devices. Based on the determination, corrective measures are taken and beamforming is reactivated.

Bandwidth part BWP processing method and device

A bandwidth part processing method includes receiving, by a terminal, a first information and a second information from a network device. The first information indicates that at least one default bandwidth part (BWP) corresponds to at least two active BWPs, the second information indicates that the at least two active BWPs correspond to at least one first timer, and the at least one first timer is useable by the terminal to perform deactivation processing on at least one of the at least two active BWPs. The method further includes performing, by the terminal, deactivation processing on the at least one of the at least two active BWPs, and activation processing on a BWP in the at least one default BWP based on the first and second information, or performing deactivation processing on the at least one of the at least two active BWPs based on the first and second information.

System and Method for Carrier Aggregation for Wireless Local Area Networks

Embodiments are provided herein for improving carrier aggregation for wireless networks. A plurality of bandwidth channels are assigned to a basic service set (BSS) for transmissions. Specifically, the bandwidth channels are divided into multiple channel segments corresponding to multiple primary or alternate primary channels. A channel segment possibly further includes one or more additional secondary channels. The locations of the primary or alternate primary channels that correspond to the channel segments of the BSS are then broadcasted in the network. When a station or AP receives this BSS information, it searches for an available primary or alternate primary channel of the BSS to begin transmission. Upon detecting an available primary channel or alternate primary channel that is not used for another transmission, the station or AP transmits data on the channel segment corresponding to the detected primary or alternate primary channel.

The present disclosure provides an information transmission method, a device, and a system, and relates to the communications field, so as to resolve a prior-art problem that when an unlicensed spectrum is preempted to send data, a receive end cannot obtain a correct time resource sequence number, and cannot descramble information. A first device scrambles, according to a first scrambling code sequence, first data carried on a first time resource on an unlicensed carrier, where the first data is data that is sent by the first device to a second device, and the first scrambling code sequence is generated according to a sequence number of a second time resource on a licensed carrier or a first value; and the first device sends scrambled first data to the second device.
