Embeddings-based recommendations of latent communication platform features
A communication platform may comprise different systems for helping a user discover features of the platform. However, the systems may generate different results. An application programming interface (API) may receive such outputs and may be configured to select between the outputs based on detecting a state at a user's computing device and/or using a machine-learned model to weight the outputs and/or probabilities associated therewith using a target metric. The API may then rank the outputs and select from among them based at least in part on the target metric.
DOWNLINK SIGNAL RECEPTION METHOD AND USER EQUIPMENT, AND DOWNLINK SIGNAL TRANSMISSION METHOD AND BASE STATION
Provided are a method and an apparatus for transmitting or receiving a downlink reference signal. A cell-specific downlink reference signal (CRS) is transmitted in a partial frequency band of the entire downlink frequency band. Configuration information of the CRS transmitted in the partial frequency band is provided to user equipment. The CRS transmitted in the partial frequency band may be used in downlink channel measurement alone or together with a legacy CRS.
Dynamic outroute load balancing and multicast
An apparatus, system, and method for balancing traffic loads on beam outroutes that contain both multicast and unicast traffic. An outroute is designated for supplying at least multicast traffic within a beam of a satellite communication system. Terminals interested in receiving the multicast traffic are moved to the designated outroute. Traffic loads on all outroutes within the beam, including the designated outroute, are compared to determine if variations in the traffic loads exceed a predetermined threshold. A load balancing routine is performed to redistribute the traffic loads on all outroutes, while excluding any terminal that is actively receiving the multicast traffic from the load balancing routine.

Mobile terminal and method of controlling therefor for selectively sending messages using multiple message input windows
A mobile terminal and controlling method thereof are disclosed, by which a message inputted before or after a message reception can be selectively sent when a message is received from a counterpart while composing a message. The present invention includes the steps of if a counterpart message is externally received in the course of a message input to a message input window and a message is additionally inputted to the message input window, applying a visual effect to either a message inputted before receiving the counterpart message or the additionally inputted message and if a send command is received, sending a message corresponding to the send command to a counterpart, wherein the message corresponding to the send command is selected from a message having the visual effect applied thereto and a message not having the visual effect applied thereto among messages displayed on the message input window.
Data Transmission Method and Device
A data transmission method and device, where the method includes determining, by a first station device, that a second station device supports a first service, receiving a device group join request message that is sent by the second station device according to a media access control (MAC) address of a first device group, where the first device group is a device group of the first service and is a device group to which the first station device belongs, sending a device group join response message to another station device in the first device group and the second station device according to the multicast MAC address of the first device group in a contention transmission manner, and performing data transmission of the first service with the second station device in a service window of the first service, where the service window includes a time and/or a channel of service transmission.
INFORMATION SUCCEEDING METHOD, INFORMATION SUCCEEDING SYSTEM, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS
Disclosed is an information succeeding method executed by a computer. The information succeeding method includes determining whether a context satisfies a predetermined condition; distributing a content to a terminal in a case where the context is determined to satisfy the predetermined condition; transmitting, upon receiving succeeding information indicating succeeding of the content from the terminal, content information corresponding to the succeeding information to the terminal; receiving from the terminal the previously distributed content, based on the content information; and transmitting the previously distributed content to a succeeding destination, upon receiving a content request that has been transmitted from the succeeding destination based on the content information, the content information having been received by the succeeding destination from the terminal.
Multicast Group Allocation Method, Centralized Control Point, and Multicast Router
A multicast group allocation method, a centralized control point, and a multicast router are provided. A centralized control point determines a correspondence between at least two multicast groups and at least two RPs in a rendezvous point set according to information about the at least two multicast groups and information about the at least two RPs, where in the correspondence between the at least two multicast groups and the at least two RPs, each RP is corresponding to a same quantity of multicast groups; the centralized control point evenly allocates the at least two multicast groups to the at least two RPs according to the correspondence between the at least two multicast groups and the at least two RPs and diffuses the correspondence between the at least two multicast groups and the at least two RPs to all multicast routers on a PIM network.
