In one embodiment, game data of a video game is received at a game service computing machine as the video game is being executed on a user gaming machine. A game statistic is generated by the game service computing machine based on the game data. The game statistic is sent to subscribers having a subscription to the game statistic.
METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND DEVICES OF SOCIAL NETWORKING WITH PORTIONS OF RECORDED GAME CONTENT
Embodiments include a system and method that facilitate detecting a request from a player to share a trigger clip of a video game, preparing the trigger clip for sharing and sharing the trigger clip in a message to a third party or to a social media destination. Additional embodiments include storing one or more trigger clips in a library where the trigger clips are available for searching and review by players and others. Advantages include making the trigger clips available for subsequent review, training, coaching and other purposes.
Method and apparatus for providing a computer implemented game
A first user device is provided. Via the user interface a first computer implemented game within a messaging application can be selected. The first computer implemented game is related, but different, to second computer implemented game. Game play in one of the first and second computer implemented game is dependent on game play in the other of the first and second computer implemented games.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING IN-GAME MESSENGER SERVICE
Disclosed is a method for providing an in-game messenger service comprising: storing a game program in a platform server; associating an in-game messenger program for the game program; and transmitting the in-game messenger program associated with the game program to a user terminal as the game program is transmitted from the platform server to the user terminal.
Methods, systems, and devices of providing multi-perspective portions of recorded game content in response to a trigger
A system that incorporates the subject disclosure may include, for example, a device that has a memory to store instructions and a processor coupled to the memory, wherein responsive to executing the instructions, the processor performs operations that include defining a group of perspectives around an avatar controlled by a player of a video game, detecting a current trigger during the video game, recording a trigger clip of game content for each perspective in the group of perspectives resulting in a group of trigger clips, wherein each trigger clip of the group of trigger clips is a portion of game content that includes the current trigger from each perspective of the group of perspectives, and providing the group of trigger clips over a communication network to a gaming device utilized by the player. Additional embodiments are disclosed.

Message encryption with video game
A system that may be utilized for sending and locking text messages is provided. The system may allow a user to send an electronic message that is encrypted, locked, hidden, or otherwise made unviewable by the system to form a locked message. The locked message may be formed by associating a game with the message and requiring that a recipient play the game and satisfy an objective of the game before the message is unlocked or made viewable and displayed for the recipient. The locked messages may be sent to multiple recipients or to groups and may provide opportunities for competitive or cooperative play between recipients. Promotions, coupons, incentives, coupons, and marketing materials may be sent as locked messages and require or incentivize engagement by recipients.
TECHNIQUES TO INTERACT WITH AN APPLICATION VIA MESSAGING
Techniques to interact with an application via messaging are described. An apparatus may comprise an application support component and a communication component. The application support component may be operative to generate an image representing a state of an application and to update the state of the application according to a text command. The communication component may be operative to transmit the image to a client device via a messaging system as an image attachment to a first message and to receive a second message from the client device via the messaging system, the second message comprising the text command. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
