Methods and Systems for Distributed Testing of Network Configurations for Zero-Rating
A server causes a user device configured as a test agent to implement a testing plan for testing a network configuration regarding zero-rating. By causing the test agent to implement the testing plan, the server causes the test agent to send one or more requests to one or more respective predetermined IP addresses. The server receives data indicating results of the one or more requests. The server further uses the data to identify whether the network configuration is potentially misconfigured regarding zero-rating. In response to identifying that the network configuration is potentially misconfigured regarding zero-rating, the server sends a notification of the potential misconfiguration to a network operator.
System and method for monitoring and managing data center resources incorporating a common data model repository
A system is disclosed that forms a base platform that enables a plurality of objects to be used in forming a plurality of different domain models. The system may have a common data model repository (CDMR) having an object relational mapping layer for mapping instances of the objects to persistent storage. The instances of objects may represent information that includes connections and control capabilities for at least certain ones of the instances of objects, and the CDMR may implement the connections and control capabilities in relation to managed elements.
CROSS-CLIENT SENSOR USER INTERFACE IN AN INTEGRATED SECURITY NETWORK
An integrated system includes a system user interface (SUI) that provides an iconic, at-a-glance representation of integrated security system status. The SUI is for use across all client devices including mobile or cellular telephones, a mobile portal, a web portal, and a touchscreen device. The SUI includes a number of display elements presented across all types of client devices for monitoring status of the integrated security system. The display elements of the SUI include an orb icon, text summary, security button, device warnings, system warnings, interesting sensors, and quiet sensors. The SUI thus provides system status summary information agnostically across all clients. Additionally, the SUI provides consistent iconography, terminology, and display rules across all clients as well as consistent sensor and system detail across clients.
MANAGEMENT OF A SECURITY SYSTEM AT A PREMISES
A security system is described for managing a premises. The security system comprises security system components and a first controller. A takeover component receives security data of the security system from the first controller. The security data is used to configure a second controller to communicate with the security system. The second controller communicates with the security system components and replaces the first controller in management of the security system.
Method for establishing a management session between an item of equipment and a device for management of this item of equipment
The invention provides a set-up method for setting up a management session between a first piece of equipment of a first network and a first management device for managing this piece of equipment that belongs to a second network, the method comprising: setting up (F70) a management session between a second piece of equipment of the first network that is reachable from the second network, and a second management device managing the second piece of equipment that belongs to the second network; the second management device acting during the management session to send (F80) a request to the second piece of equipment requesting the second piece of equipment to download a content at an address provided by the first piece of equipment in order to set up a management session therewith; the second piece of equipment executing (F110) the download request; and in response to this execution, the first piece of equipment initiating (F170) a connection with the first management device to set up a management session therewith.
Method and apparatus for session sharing shared worker module
Various methods, apparatuses, and media for implementing a session sharing shared worker module are provided. A processor executes a first web application and a second web application within a web browser. The first web application is associated with a first tab and the second web application is associated with a second tab having different web content than the first tab. The processor determines whether a shared worker is available within the web browser. A session sharing module is configured to: register each of the first tab and the second tab with the shared worker based on determining that the shared worker is available within the web browser; receive a first request from the first tab to connect to a server and a second request from the second tab to connect to the server; combine the first request and the second request into one packaged request; and send the one packaged request to the server via one connection point.
Device Configuration Method, System, and Apparatus
A method includes generating verification information based on a to-be-configured device, where an association relationship exists between the verification information and service configuration information of the to-be-configured device; sending the verification information to the to-be-configured device; receiving a registration request from the to-be-configured device, where the registration request includes the verification information; and performing verification on the to-be-configured device based on the verification information, and sending the service configuration information of the to-be-configured device to the to-be-configured device.
MULTI-APPLICATION RECOMMENDATION ENGINE FOR A REMOTE NETWORK MANAGEMENT PLATFORM
A remote network management platform may include persistent storage containing: (i) data related to a managed network, and (ii) a persona of a user. The remote network management platform may also include a platform application associated with a web-based user interface and using a portion of the data. The remote network management platform may also include a recommendation engine with access to a set of rules or a machine learning (ML) model corresponding to the platform application. The recommendation engine may be configured to: (i) read, from the persistent storage, the portion of the data and the persona; (ii) apply, to the portion of the data and the persona, the set of rules or the ML model to generate one or more recommendations; and (iii) transmit, by way of the web-based user interface and to the user, representations of the one or more recommendations.
Management system and control method
A management system configured to manage device information responds, if an acquisition request for device information is received from an information processing terminal, to the information processing terminal with information for displaying the device information and script information including a command to cause the information processing terminal to check whether access to a web server implemented on the device is permitted. The information processing terminal is configured to, if the access to the web server implemented on the device is not permitted due to execution of the command included in the script information, be restricted from accessing the web server implemented on the device.
Method and Apparatus For Information exchange Over a Web Based Environment
Traditional information sharing will delete a file in order for stop sharing the file, and after shared a message, the message cannot be stopped for sharing. This invention discloses method and system for user posting (sharing) or un-posting (stop sharing) files, folders, and messages by deploying dynamic workspace technology. The stop sharing file or folder will not delete actual file or folder, so that the file or folder can be shared again to other users without requiring to recreate the file or folder. The un-post message operation facilitates a user to delete or withdraw his/her previously posted message from user interface (UI) of a recipient such that the user can avoid embarrassing if the message is not proper. Specially, a sharing control list is provided to user to control stop sharing files, otherwise, the user may do not remember how many files being shared with how many recipients.
